She jumps over food court counters at an empty mall and snags whatever snacks she pleases as she sings at outsiders looking in who assume they're, "the man." The baddie anthem is making waves on TikTok and inspiring the app's users to create fashion, beauty, and self-love videos with its audio.
TikTok Claims Another Hit Song
The lyrics shown in most of the lip-syncing videos go, "Stop, what the hell are you talking about? Ha/ Get my pretty name out of your mouth/ We are not the same with or without/ Don't talk 'bout me like how you might know how I feel."
One of the videos showcases creator Lola Lourdes, who has over 700,000 followers, mouthing the first half of Eilish's catchy verse. Then in a quick cut, her camera glows with a bright red background and Lourdes is now wearing a full face of glam makeup, complete with a red lip and winged smoky eye.
Another TikTok influencer @lydcann used Eilish's lyrics to inspire other young women with alopecia. She videotapes herself without her wig on in the first half, then smirks to, "Keep my pretty name out of your mouth," while sporting her long brunette wig. Commenters praised her for her powerful presence.
Glow Up And Glowing Already
Fashion loving TikTokers used fun, creative camera angles that cut to multiple outfits changes. Abby Roberts, otherwise known as @abbyrartistry, went for it as she began with a purple ensemble, matching hair, and a killer pair of platform boots. Her snippet ended with skeleton-inspired makeup and a bejeweled ribcage sweatshirt.
Eilish has yet to comment or join in on the trend, as expected considering her preference for a private lifestyle. She did, however, repost one of the trend's skyrocketing videos.
Goku Dragun posed in front of a glowing beam of light and tossed her gorgeous sandy-colored hair as she embodied the word, "confident." Her comment section is currently filled with excited viewers congratulating her for getting noticed by Eilish. She's probably freaking out over the news, while we're freaking out over her unparalleled sense of style.
