There's a lot to love about Brad Pitt. But in the past, he's been accused of being a bit high-and-mighty in terms of his position in Hollywood. The thing is, fans have a theory about why this might be -- and it also explains some other weirdness that fellow actors have encountered with the star, though it doesn't explain that time he messed up his lines on 'Friends.'

No, Fans Don't Think Brad Is Sick

First off, fans don't think Brad's condition is life-threatening, nor is it something that's really dangerous. But it is very unique, and something that could affect his daily life. It may be especially tough for someone who often has to work with others, as Brad does as an actor.

At the same time, his experience and prowess as an actor may actually help him live a great life despite this somewhat limiting condition.

Fans Think Brad Pitt Has A Unique Condition

What do Steve Wozniak (Apple), Jane Goodall (primatologist), and Brad Pitt have in common? Redditors say they may all have a condition called prosopagnosia. The condition, though debatable in terms of how medically accurate it is, describes "face blindness."

What is face blindness? Redditors elaborate that the condition involves the inability to remember other people's faces. In this case, fans believe that Brad Pitt has prosopagnosia because of some comments he has made about being unable to recognize former co-stars.

Why Do Fans Think Brad Has Prosopagnosia?

Fans can point to a few examples of scenarios that hint at Brad's possible condition. For one thing, Redditors discussed that after the film 'Inglourious Basterds,' which Brad acted in alongside Samm Levine, Samm shared an interesting story about Brad.

The actor explained that if the two ran into one another post-filming, Brad wouldn't recognize Samm. But if Levine said his name to Brad, all was well, and he could remember who Samm was without further prompting.

Even Brad Pitt Thinks He Has A Neurological Problem

There's another reason fans think Brad has prosopagnosia, though; he admitted that he has trouble recognizing faces. In fact, CNN quoted Brad as saying he 'thinks he might suffer from' face blindness.

His reasoning? He finds it extremely difficult to remember folks' faces after meeting them, Brad elaborated, to the point where people accused him of being "egotistical" or "conceited." It's not that, though -- and people often mistake Brad for other famous folks, so what gives?

Though a quick refresher on who they are and how they met could help Brad place his former co-stars or even long-ago friends, he explained that asking for hints only made things worse in terms of his relationships with others.

It bothered Pitt so much, he said that he was going to get tested. However, that was back in 2013, and though institutions like Carnegie Mellon University offered to help Brad out with a potential diagnosis, nothing seems to have come from it.
