The flamboyant and talented musician Brendon Urie, known for his band Panic! at the Disco, has been extremely quiet for six whole months, at least on his popular social media pages from Instagram and Twitter. Scarily enough, his wife Sarah has also been very quiet as well. The last post Brendon made was regarding the injustice involving the death of George Floyd.

Like millions of people in the United States, he is angry that racism is still lingering in the country as corrupted cops continue to use their power. He is all for the Black Lives Matter movement and that's a great thing regarding his platform giving any person of gender identity, sexuality, and skin color a safe place. Was his passionate support for the BLM movement the cause of going silent? Unfortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth.

Starting in April of this year, the Twitter hashtag, #brendonurieisoverparty, started trending due to allegations going against him when a Twitter user @kam02700814 was a minor at the time while at a Panic! at the Disco concert in 2009. Allegedly, he told Brendon that he was a minor at the time, but that didn't stop Brendon from asking the Twitter user if he made out with a guy before.

Then @leah62053062 came forward with her story regarding her situation with Brendon when she was 15 in 2011. However, it was confirmed that both Twitter users are the same person, and that they made the accounts for the sake of canceling him. Both Twitter accounts have been deactivated after coming clean.

Even with all of that, the end of July came around when former bandmember Dallon Weekes' wife Breezy Weekes addressed that she faced sexual harassment by the band's bodyguard, Zack Hall. That's when #FireZackHall started trending on Twitter, with the fans urging Brendon to fire the bodyguard that sexually harassed and showed off inappropriate behavior. In response to this, Brendon has fired Zack.

So what has been Brendon up to since he's been inactive on social media so far? His last whereabouts were on Twitch, where he live-streamed on November 1st and 8th. In the former stream, he confirmed his firing of Zack and said during the stream, "So, Zack has been removed from his current position with Panic! At The Disco, alright? Some of the things recently brought up from the past have definitely crossed the line, and… I am taking this very seriously, alright? Because nobody who works with this band can ever act inappropriately towards fans, period."

Brendon later apologized to those that have been hurt and ensures his fans that their safety is his priority. Despite what happened, Zack is still his friend, noting that he believes in second chances. He appreciates his fans during his silence on social media and to make up for this, has anyone working with the band to get anti-harassment training. With this brutal chapter out of the way, hopefully, this can have Brendon continue on forward with a refreshed start.
