Bridal Party Carries Adoptable Puppies Instead Of Wedding Bouquet

One couple used their wedding to help some adorable puppies get adopted. Instead of having their bridal party carry wedding bouquets down the aisle, each person carried a puppy that needed a forever home.

Kyle Morris and Brian Seals chose to switch things up at their wedding to honor not only how they fell in love, but also to help out animals they love. The newlyweds met when they were working on a project at Partners 4 Pets, which is an animal rescue shelter in Troy, Illinois. When they began planning their wedding, both Morris and Seals agreed that shelter pets would be part of their special day.

Since they both love dogs, it was decided they would find a way to have puppies present at their wedding. Seals also revealed to the local news the couple wanted to get the animals out of their shelter cages, as well as get some attention for Partners 4 Pets.

Neither one of them had any idea how to incorporate dogs into a wedding. Then one day, as they were in the midst of figuring out the bridal party's attire, Morris came up with the idea to ditch the flowers and have dogs carried instead. They had 10 bridesmaids, and each one carried an adorable pup in their arms walking down the aisles, throughout the ceremony and in all of the pictures.

Morris and Seals did not tell anyone except those in charge of the wedding party, so guests were shocked and excited when they noticed the dogs. Not only have they brought a massive amount of attention to local shelters in the area but eight out of the ten puppies that were part of their wedding have been adopted. Both agree they are thrilled with how it has turned out and hope it continues to help all animals get adopted.

It wasn't just about their love of animals though; the couple wanted to spread the word it is okay to be different and to deter from what is considered the norm. They hope their unique choice will inspire others to embrace being different, standing out and being true to themselves. What a fantastic couple and an inspiring story.
