A Family Friend Spoke Up In Defense Of Lynne Spears

Earlier this year, a longtime family friend spoke up in Lynne's defense after Britney's conservatorship bombshell testimony.

“I’m so thankful that Britney was finally able to speak for herself and be heard,” Joy Boudreaux Moore wrote in a lengthy Facebook post.

“I’ve prayed for her liberation, and for her release for all oppression,” she continued.

Moore is a longtime friend of Spears’ mother Lynne and has also weighed in on Lynne’s role in the conservatorship.

She alleged to have known the family for decades and having witnessed Britney’s path to fame and her struggles.

“Lynne wouldn’t want me to be defensive of her right now, she’d eat me to only be supportive of deliverance for her daughter,” Moore wrote.

She then described Lynne Spears as “a devoted mama and a devoted grandma” to Spears’ two children from her marriage to Kevin Federline.

"She’s done everything in her power, before the conservatorship and during it, to battle for her daughter,” Moore also wrote.

She made it clear that the singer’s mother is “NOT on Britney’s payroll” and alleged that Lynne is playing a key role in freeing her daughter from the conservatorship.
