Britney Spears fans continue to worry about the singer's mental health after the pop star shared another bizarre selfie.

On Wednesday, she posted what has now become her signature selfie. The "...Baby One More Time" artist wore a floral blouse, heavy eyeliner and messy extensions. The same pose is seen throughout her Instagram feed.

She seemed to allude to an upcoming project called "Just A Touch of Rose" while seemingly acknowledging an upcoming Netflix documentary about her.

After the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary, and the ongoing #FreeBritney movement, fans have turned detective on the 39-year-old's strange Instagram account. Spears fans are desperate to unearth clues about her well-being.

"Another shot from the shoot I did for Just A Touch Of Rose!!! Red is still in motion...coming to theatres near you soon....KIDDING!!!!" she wrote.

Many were convinced she was subtly acknowledging the upcoming Netflix special which was announced early this week. The platform has become known for its red logo.

This is not the first time she has mentioned the "Rose" related project. The mom-of-two first spoke about it August. But the mention of "in theatres" and the rose emoji use has many convinced she is starting to speak out about the conservatorship in subtle ways.

But many Britney fans think she is being "controlled" by her handlers.

"I think they are just heavily medicating her and then taking pictures of her, this poor woman does not look right," one fan wrote.

"She's dead behind the eyes. This woman doesn't need another 'project', she needs serious help," a second added.

"She must have a whole wardrobe full of those tops and shorts. It's all she every wears these days. It's so disturbing to see. Maybe that's all they let her wear," a third chimed in.
