For the video, published today (April 20,) the pop star has opted for a special soundtrack, How You Like That by Blackpink.

Britney Spears Surprises Fans With A Blackpink Soundtrack

In the clip, Spears dances to 2020 bop How I Like That, off the band’s first album. Her edited clip sees the singer wearing several outfits, including a black lace catsuit.

“I found my lace and leather catsuit this time .... I’ve never worn it out anywhere cause well …. where could I wear it but it’s fun to hang out in ???? Like I said before …. I’m bored !!!! Here’s to fashion,” Spears captioned the video.

Fans of Blackpink were excited to learn that Spears might be part of the fandom.

“BRITNEY YOU STAN BLACKPINK!?!?! ICONIC,” one user commented.

Another fan dubbed Britney “Queen of K-POPPPP.”

Others went as far as suggesting a collaboration between Spears and the South Korean band.

“BRITPINK WHEN???” was one comment.

“You should collar with them, looking great,” another fan wrote.

Ever since their big break in 2016, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo have collaborated with the likes of Cardi B and Selena Gomez.

Britney Spears Tells Instagram Followers How She Feels About The NYT Documentary

Alongside sharing her fashion choices with her followers, Britney Spears has also recently opened up about the documentary delving into her conservatorship.

The singer said she was “embarrassed” by Framing Britney Spears, the film directed by Samantha Stark and produced by The New York Times’ Liz Day.

“My life has always been very speculated… watched... and judged really my whole life !!!” Spears wrote in a video published on March 31.

“I didn't watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in…” the singer continued, referring to Framing Britney Spears.

Fans of the singer, however, don’t believe she is in control of her Instagram profile, which seems to be her main way to communicate with her followers. After Spears posted about the documentary, some were convinced she wasn’t the one who wrote that caption.

Her followers as well as activists of the #FreeBritney movement have been suspicious of the singer’s Instagram activity for a while. Her seemingly bizarre posts have raised some questions as to whether Spears is trying to send some coded messages to fans.
