Just by becoming recognized across the world as bonafide superstars over the course of the past couple of years, K-Pop boy band BTS have been praised as some of the most talented musicians on the planet. Usually, when BTS' talents are praised, fans are referring to their rapping, singing, and dancing skills (plus their ability to make chart-topping, record-breaking jams).

But what many people often forget is that each member of BTS is incredibly multi-talented in skills outside of the band. Some of these skills are on full display with this list, for any fan who is not aware of them.

10 Suga - Basketball

This might not be so much a secret or "hidden talent" if you speak Korean, given that his name translates to "shooting guard" - the position he plays on the court - but his mastering of basketball is not a talent that stands out so easily in his music.

Suga started off life not as a musician, but as a young basketball player when he was in school. Imagine if he actually stuck to his initial passion. He might have an NBA deal by now, but fans think he still has what it takes to cross up LeBron James in a pick-up game.

9 Jimin & Jungkook - Ice Skating

Two fan-favorite members of BTS, Jimin and Jungkook were spotted once on an ice rink ice skating together, and they were pretty good at it! On the surface, this may not sound like a big deal, but not everyone knows how to ice skate and its unclear if every BTS member knows how.

Ice skating is a lot harder than the average person may suspect. Jungkook and Jimin may very well be the only members of BTS who actually know how to ice skate.

8 RM - Poetry

This should not come off as too much of a surprise, as poetry is basically the second cousin to songwriting, but poetry writing is still a talent in itself. RM certainly used it as a talent in his childhood.

As a kid, RM won numerous school awards for his poetry and even got some attention for his work worldwide when he posted his poetry online for a year straight. When songwriting and hip hop became a new challenge for him to use his poetry skills for, he excelled in it.

7 V - Saxophone

We all know that V can sing, rap, dance, and produce music (like most of the members in BTS), but how many fans know that he can play the saxophone? He learned the skill in childhood when his father paid for him to take saxophone lessons, convinced that playing sax would come in handy for his son in the future, who aspired to become a singer.

He has not had the chance to inject his sax skills into his actual music yet, but he first revealed this talent on a guest appearance for Star Show 360.

6 Jin - Guitar Playing

Another BTS member who can surprisingly play an instrument is Jin, who can play the guitar.

This is not too outlandish to think about since the guitar is a common instrument to be able to play. A musician is certainly more likely to use a guitar on their track than, say, a saxophone. Yet, Jin has never used a guitar in a single one of his songs. Fans are keeping their fingers crossed and hope he does in the future.

5 Jin - Snowboarding

Talking about more obscure hidden talents, Jin is surprisingly good at snowboarding. Fans have actually seen Jin snowboard and ski on social media, but when it comes to skiing, let's just say that he did not look like such a natural.

Snowboarding, though? You'd be forgiven if you saw Jin's snowboarding footage on social media and took him for a X Games boarder. If this music thing does not last forever for him, Jin could easily find a second life in snowboarding.

4 RM - High Intelligence

It's debatable if a high IQ is a hidden skill or talent, but a lot of people use such "skills" to obtain top school degrees and change the world for the better. RM, on the other hand, decided to use this skill to make music, and fans are all the more grateful for his decision.

What makes RM so special for being smart? Well, for starters, he has an IQ of 148. This puts him in a pretty elite class of smart folks.

3 Jungkook - Impressions/Voice Acting

Everyone loves a good Spongebob Squarepants impression, don't they? Well, Jungkook is chock full of them. Not only can he successfully imitate Spongebob's voice, but he can also do the voices of Mr. Krabs, Gary, and Patrick.

And his imitations do not stop there, as he has also done impressions in interviews of Marge Simpson, from one of his favorite animated shows. With a voice like this, Jungkook may have a future in the voice acting industry.

2 Suga - Belly Dance

We know that belly dancing on paper sounds silly, but since it is actually a legit dance taken seriously all over the world, it is a skill worth praising, especially when the belly dancer in question has the impressive ab structure of Suga.

In different home videos and vlogs, Suga has been spotted doing the stomach wave and belly dancing just for fun. He might be a natural in an actual belly dancing competition or challenge of some kind.

1 Jungkook - Gaming

In a world where being good at video games can be considered a legit sport, it is worth noting that Jungkook is extremely good at video games.

The few times he has posted videos of himself playing video games, it looks like there is not a single video game that he's bad at and every game he plays, he seems to excel at. Whether it's Overwatch or arcade games, when it comes to video games, Jungkook clearly gets a lot of practice in.
