Buffalo Wild Wings Will Feature Dragon Fire Sauce In Honor Of Game Of Thrones This Sunday

The highly-anticipated final season of Game of Thrones premieres this weekend. To commemorate what it is indisputably one of the best television series of all time, Buffalo Wild Wings, aka B-Dubs, will release a one-day-only wing sauce: Dragon Fire.

Buffalo Wild Wings, a casual dining restaurant and sports bar franchise in the US, Canada, India, Mexico, Oman, Panama, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam, specializes in Buffalo wings and a variety of sauces. As of June 2017, the restaurant had 1,238 locations across all 50 US states and DC.

Dragon Fire, named after Daenerys Targaryen’s dragon children, Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion, lives up to its name, combining a spicy mix of chili and ghost peppers with soy and ginger sauce. The hot wings are  topped with a jalapeño garnish that will be begging for an ice cold chaser.

Unfortunately, the taste bud torching wings will only be available on Sunday, April 14, coinciding with the season premiere of Game of Thrones. A great addition to any pre-Game party or as an appetizer during the actual premiere, Dragon Fire wings can be purchased in-restaurant or through the Buffalo Wild Wings app/website for takeout orders. Fans can also have the sauce delivered exclusively through DoorDash, an on-demand food delivery service available in more than 600 cities across North America.

Game of Thrones will air at 9 pm EST on HBO in the US, and at 2 am on Sky Atlantic in the UK. Soon we’ll know what fate awaits Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and the rest of the Westerosi. Although the start of the eighth and final season will undoubtedly have us on the edge of our seats, there is no reason we should watch the show on an empty stomach.

Buffalo Wild Wings, founded in 1982 by Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery in Columbus, Ohio, originally served wings and a dozen sauces. Since then, the restaurant’s menu has expanded greatly. Now, customers can enjoy over 16 sauces, five seasonings, and endless customizations. Among the most popular sauce options, you’ll find Bourbon Honey Mustard, Chipotle BBQ Seasoning, Desert Heat Seasoning, Jammin' Jalapeño, Mango Habanero, and Blazin', as well as Dragon Fire this Sunday.
