Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the greatest TV shows to ever exist, featuring a talented cast starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, and was brought to life by acclaimed writer and director Joss Whedon. However, news broke out surrounding Whedon due to allegations from Ray Fisher. Fisher, who played Cyborg in Zack Snyder's Justice League, accused Whedon of unacceptable behavior towards him, the rest of the cast, and the crew.

Now another star who worked under Whedon addressed their allegations against him. Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Charisma Carpenter shares her statement worldwide regarding Whedon's behavior in support for Fisher.

Whedon might be a talented and creative man, being credited for introducing a beloved TV show to life, but with the allegations going on against him talent should not excuse him for his alleged behavior. Consisting of two tweets, Carpenter revealed that she has been quiet for almost 20 years, but gathered the courage to speak up, standing with Fisher.

Carpenter revealed that the Buffy creator has threatened to fire her passive-aggressively, body shamed her despite being pregnant, and criticized her for sporting a tattoo that helped her mentally. Despite dealing with Whedon's verbal abuse, Carpenter continued on as she was not only becoming a mother at the time, but was the moneymaker for her growing family.

Carpenter felt gutted when Fisher's allegations came to light, and can confirm that Whedon did create hostile work environments, playing with favorites and treating those he sees inferior awfully. At one time, Carpenter even believed that he could be redeemed despite their past, "confirming" that she would love to work with him again. As a single mother, the Buffy actress worked extremely hard to support her family, despite the awful treatment she had to grin and bear with.

Whedon so far has not said anything regarding Carpenter's allegations, but with the latter's courage to finally speak her truth, it might bring more light to have other victims speak up. We hope that Carpenter, Fisher, and others that were affected by Whedon's abuse of power will get their peace and bring more awareness to manipulative working partners and toxic workplaces altogether.
