Caitlyn Jenner is running for Governor of California, according to a new report.

The 71-year-old former Olympic athlete has reportedly sought out political consultants and is being assisted in her consideration by Caroline Wren. Jenner, who starred on Keeping Up With The Kardashians is a high-profile Republican and previously supported 45th President Donald Trump.

Jenner's manager, Sophia Hutchins, previously shot down reports of Caitlyn's getting into politics.

Hutchins stated in February that Jenner "has never considered running for governor and is very happy doing the work that she is doing to promote LGBT rights and spending time with her 18 grandchildren and 10 children."

But respected website Axios, whose mission statement is to promote "truth, trust, safety and sanity in news" are now reporting the news.

Jenner transitioned to female in April 2015. She said in a PEOPLE interview in 2020 that she's changed her thinking in a lot of ways and no longer solely identifies as a Republican, but is more "economically conservative, socially progressive."

But fans were still not here at the potential prospect of Caitlyn Jenner being the next Governor of California.

"The last thing California needs is another nut job!" one fan commented online.

"I'll take "Things That Will Never Happen" for $1000, Alex," a second added.

"NO MORE CELEBRITY POLITICIANS...PLEASE!" a third commented.

"Our country is a bloody joke to the rest of the world," a fourth chimed in.

Meanwhile Caitlyn's former son-in-law Kanye West's bid for President was both a financial and personal loss. The total cost of his failed bid for the White House has come to light, according to a report released by the Federal Election Commission.

West's self-funded a majority of his run, which didn't officially begin until four-months before voting day.

While the eventual winner, Joe Biden, had the honor of becoming the first Presidential campaign to receive a billion dollars in donations - West only raised $2million for outside contributors.

The "Gold-Digger" artist, 43, earned 66,000 votes nationally - averaging out his final campaign costs at nearly $200 per vote.

West's campaign - which he ran under the banner of the Birthday Party, focused on Christian values, fiscal conservatism and criminal justice reform.

The Grammy winning artist told attendees that Kim had once considered aborting their first daughter, North.

Kanye told the crowd that Kim "had pills in her hand."

He shared, "You know, these pills you take it and it's a wrap—the baby is gone."

In the end, the "Jesus Walks" rapper only made it onto the ballot in 12 states.
