As much as we may want it, Cameron Monaghan did not end up with Noel Fisher in real life. We loved the character's dysfunctional relationship. But as with all the other on-screen couples we ship, we had to come to terms with the fact that Fisher and Monaghan aren't a real couple, no matter how much chemistry they seemed to have on Shameless. They're just really great friends.
While Fisher has been a married man since 2017, Monaghan has been quietly dating Los Angeles-based model Lauren Searle for about a year now, after breaking up with Peyton List.
The red-headed actor is worth a pretty penny thanks to his eleven years on the hit Showtime series and other various projects, so he should have enough funds to spoil Searle rotten, or maybe they like to spoil each other. Either way, here's what we know about the model who stole the heart of our favorite Gallagher.
He Started Dating Peyton List In 2017
Before Searle, Monaghan dated Disney star Peyton List after meeting on the set of the indie drama Anthem of a Teenage Prophet. They were private about their relationship for the most part until List gave an interview to AOL Build, in which she revealed some details about her and Monaghan's relationship.
"He's so understanding, which is so nice, and I am too," she said. "We're always like, 'If work comes up, that's fine, that comes first.' I can't imagine having someone who isn't [an actor], but I'm sure they would understand eventually, but it would be difficult."
Their relationship sadly ended after two years, however. Monaghan explained there were no hard feelings between them in a since-deleted personal message to List on his Twitter. "Hey @PeytonList, figured now was as good a time as any to post this. The video was taken on the set of Anthem about two days after we had started dating. I was obviously smitten."

According to Nicki Swift, List has never spoken about her split from Monaghan.
Monaghan Started Dating Searle In 2020
In October 2020, Monaghan posted a risque photo of him and a mystery woman making out outside a camping tent. That mystery woman was Searle, a Los Angeles-based model, who works for Vision LA and Heros Model, two of the biggest modeling agencies ever.
If this wasn't a "making it official" post, we don't know what is. Monaghan captioned the intimate photo with, "Mentally still here." Searle also posted a lot of photos from the same camping trip. One photo showed a hand holding dipping sauce for her with the caption, "First fried pickle courtesy of my personal sauce holder and lover." Monaghan was tagged as the sauce holder.
So far, the couple themselves has confirmed to us that they are still together through their social media. Searle posted a series of photos that Monaghan took of her wearing a new line of SKIMS. "@skims boyfriend collection shot by @cameronmonaghan," she captioned the post.
"Oooh, thanks for the photo credit (even if you did crop your toes out 😉)," Monaghan replied.
Searle doesn't just work for SKIMS; she also models for several well-known brands like CUUP, Skims, Monday Swimmer.
Her website reads: "Lauren Searle- Artist, model, and so much more. To be a successful model means being charismatic. According to AmoMama, Searle was told by her agency that she had to "either lose weight, get a boob reduction, or try to look bigger after her breasts grew 'overnight' between the ages of 16 and 17. Searle refused to do so."
Outside of work, Searle supports a charitable organization called The Amanda Foundation, which works to help homeless animals. She's also an artist and has an art account linked to her personal Instagram. Her style is mainly modern abstract, with lots of color and print.
According to Celebsuburb, she also attended college. From 2017 to 2018, she attended the College of DuPage, but we don't know what she studied or if she plans to continue her degree. Her father is also a professional photographer, and her mother works for a skincare company. She has two younger sisters. As of 2020, the Australian-born model is worth about $500,000.
Apparently, Monaghan and Searle are still going strong. They both posted a blurry picture of themselves smiling at each other in January. Searle commented on her post, "My valentine."
We're loving these posts that they keep giving us, but we'd love more details about them and their relationship. For now, we'll just have to continue stalking their Instagrams.
