Cardi B just posted some clips and photos of herself in a truly unique dress that her fans just can't wrap their heads around. Do you understand it? Here's what people (including Cardi and the look's designer) have to say.
She Basically Bares All
In a video captioned simply "Enjoy life," Cardi tip toes her way into one of her cars in what looks like some kind of combination between a rolled up white sweater and a red sheer bodycon dress.
The dress makes it seem like she might be fully exposed, but photos on its designer's IG show that the material itself is painted to look like a woman's curves. The designer himself describes the outfit as "cosmic energy," which franky doesn't clear anything up.
Cardi Says She's in 'Dragon Ball Z'
In the video posted above, Cardi can be heard saying "Hi guys it's Majin Buu here, on my way to fight Goku. Bye!"
She signs off with a tongue pop, leaving fans to wonder if she really felt like she was serving something inspired by those 'Dragon Ball Z' characters.
The color palette might not be out of place in that animated world, so it's a possibilty. It's also not the first time Cardi's looked like she belongs on her fave show. She once wore a green look to the BET Awards that people were quick to compare to the 'Dragon Ball Z' character Android 16.

Few people on Cardi's socials have been able to get over how strange her dress is. The highest rated comment on her post (with thousands of likes) is Kid The Wiz saying "This Dress Different."
Cardi's female friends had more practical concerns.
"Ok so first of all is the dress warm? Because it’s cold today," wrote Cardi's influencer pal Somaya Reece.
"Im tryna figure out if that’s just one piece," admitted rapper Baby Kaely.
