The 2000s hit sitcom Girlfriends is now streaming on Netflix, and the former castmates revealed racy behind the scenes details in a recent Zoom get-together.

Girlfriends ran for 8 seasons, from 2000 to 2008. The sitcom was about the ups and downs in the lives of four women: Tony, Maya, Lynn, and Joan. The series also spawned a spinoff, The Game, which ran for 8 seasons as well.

In their Zoom reunion, the cast, which also includes Tracee Ellis-Ross, Golden Brooks, Persia White, and Jill Marie Jones, revealed that they went through a phase during production where they flashed each other constantly.

Ellis-Ross asked if any of them remembered the flashing phase they went through, and the rest of the cast gleefully starting laughing and reminiscing. They agreed that it was a "thing," and that they did it to each other for a long time.

Brooks said, "We would go into each other's room and literally, I was slightly turned on." White jokingly urged them to do it one time more saying, "guys let's do it [right now], one for the road." Of course, the rest of the cast declined, but it was worth the laugh.

White also joked that if anyone had wanted to date any of the cast at the time they should have just asked the other three, because they knew each other very well due to their flashing phase.

Girlfriends launched the career of its cast members, particularly Ross, who is currently starring in the hit comedy show Black-ish. All 8 seasons of Girlfriends are available now on Netflix, as well as the first 3 seasons of The Game.
