Howard Stern holds grudges. That means his SiriusXM radio show does too. While many celebrities who Howard once feuded with have forgiven him, and he them, there are a few that haven't quite reached that point. Of course, fans of The Howard Stern Show know that the radio legend is long past the days where he'd feud with every celebrity under the sun. In fact, he has now become one of the best celebrity interviewers in... well... history. But there are a few he wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole.

Some of the celebrities who have been banned from The Howard Stern Show have a long history with the program Others have run afoul Howard in his personal life. Even though the King Of All Media has shown to be capable of evolving and even forging relationships with those once deemed his enemy, at this point in time, these celebrities will not be on the show.

9 Artie Lange

Fans of The Howard Stern Show in the 2000s are still gutted by what happened to Howard's former co-host. Not only are they saddened by the state of Artie's relationship with Howard, but also by the terrible addiction issues he continues to deal with. At the time of this writing, the famous and often controversial comedian is sober and remaining away from the spotlight for the very reason Howard banned him from the show in the first place. After an attempt on his life, Howard felt he could no longer give Artie a massive platform where his illness could take advantage of everyone in sight.

While Artie waged war against Howard throughout the 2010s after leaving the show so tragically, he's softened as of late. In fact, Artie has told the press that Howard was "the most generous" person and that he only has kind thoughts about him. Whether this, paired with his sobriety, finally bridges the divide between the two former colleagues remains to be seen.

8 Wendy Williams

Wendy Williams has stated that Howard was one of the inspirations for her career. She's even said this to his face during an interview on his show. However, things turned sour between them after she was disrespectful during their interview, claiming that he had "gone Hollywood".

She later did this on her own show in a much more cutting way, prompting Howard to rant about her on air. According to People, Howard later apologized claiming that it was him "at his worst". But this didn't stop him from bashing Wendy again the next year when she got into the Radio Hall Of Fame before him. While Howard does his best to avoid talking about Wendy nowadays, it's clear she's no longer welcome on his show.

7 Simon Cowell

There are few celebrities Howard hates more than Simon Cowell. While Simon has been on The Howard Stern Show alongside his former American Idol judges in the early days of the reality hit, he hasn't been on in years. Howard has never found Simon particularly interesting. But in 2016, Howard's disinterest turned into full-blown hate.

During the hack on Sony, emails were released of Simon demanding that Howard get fired as a judge on America's Got Talent so that he could take his place. Simon then gave Howard a phony apology claiming that's not what he meant. Since then, Howard has rarely missed a beat to ridicule Simon and call him out for an assortment of bad behavior.

6 Gilbert Gottfried

Aladdin star and famed comedian Gilbert Gottfried was one of the best parts of The Howard Stern Show in the 2000s. He was a regular guest who wouldn't shy away from controversy. Even though the Comedy Central Roast icon has calmed in recent years, it's clear Howard has no interest in inviting him back on the show. So, what happened? Well, Gilbert crossed a line with Howard when he spat on a bunch of cupcakes in the hallway of SiriusXM that were meant for the staff. Even though Gilbert was trying to be funny, he showed incredible disrespect for Howard's employees while off-air.

5 Jackie Martling

Comedian Jackie Martling was Howard's original co-host, aside from Robin Quivers. Because of his history with the show, he felt he was far more instrumental to its success than his superiors did. After a contract dispute, Jackie left The Stern Show. He expected Howard, Robin, Fred Norris, and Gary Dell'Abate to have his back, but they didn't. Without notice, Jackie quit The Stern Show and was soon replaced by Artie Lange. While he and Howard had a fairly positive relationship in the immediate years that followed, things soon soured. Jackie started bashing Howard alongside other ex-staffers and this caused "the joke-man" to get banned.

4 Jim Florentine

Jim Florentine was another comedian who'd often appear on The Stern Show. But there's no chance that he will ever return due to the show's evolution away from the extremely edgy material Jim provides. More importantly, Jim once dated Robin Quivers. She's made it clear that she doesn't want to be around Jim and Howard is happy to oblige.

3 Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson hasn't been on The Stern Show and absolutely never will. Like other stars, Howard has called out the Braveheart actor and acclaimed director for being an antisemite. Howard hasn't shied away from playing various recorded rants where Mel has uttered sexist, homophobic, anti-Jewish, racist, and violent statements. He also interviewed Mel's ex-wife in an attempt to expose him for the type of man that many believe him to be.

2 Andy Dick

Andy Dick has basically got himself canceled and banned from every show around. So, it's really no surprise that The Howard Stern Show is among them. Andy's behavior as a guest on The Stern Show pushed Howard's buttons numerous times. But their relationship ended in 2011 when Andy hurled various antisemitic slurs at Howard. This caused Howard to absolutely eviscerate him on air.

1 Perez Hilton

Perez Hilton has been part of some of the most iconic Stern Show gags of the 2010s. But, according to a 2020 interview with Page Six, Perez believes he's been banned.

The controversial entertainer said that his request to promote his book was denied and that he's essentially been ghosted by the organization. At this point, Howard has said nothing about Perez and they don't appear to have had a falling out. Then again, Perez has repeatedly bashed a number of Howard's most famous guests.
