When celebrities have children, we often wonder whether or not their children will be following in their footsteps. For many children, that's not the case as they want to live a life that's as normal as possible. On the other hand, there are also plenty of celebrity children who want to be in that same spotlight as their famous parents and will do anything to kick off their career and get it started.
After breaking into the acting world, many children of celebrities take on any role they can get their hands on. Some of these roles include acting alongside their parents, which makes for great chemistry. Whether these celebrities and their children decide to continue to act with one another or not is completely up to them, however, there are many cases in which they make for the best co-stars.
9 Angelina Jolie And Vivienne Jolie-Pitt
It's not clear whether or not Angelina Jolie's kids are going to follow in her footsteps when it comes to acting. However, one of her daughters, Vivienne, was in the movie Maleficent alongside her. If you haven't seen the movie, Angelina has to get in some scary costume to get in character, and every child they tried to have act alongside her, wound up being too scared of her to actually act.
Producers even tried to use one of Angelina's children and they were all scared of her too. That was until they gave Vivienne a try. She was the only one to not have a bad reaction to her mom, so she was able to score the small role in the movie. She was definitely the brave one out of the Jolie-Pitt clan.
8 Susan Sarandon And Eva Amurri
Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri have acted alongside each other on quite a few occasions. In 2002 they were both in the movie The Banger Sisters where Eva played Susan's daughter. Things went so well for them in that movie that they starred alongside each other yet again for the movie Mother's Day. Naturally, because they're mother and daughter in real life, they have good chemistry, which makes them more likely to be cast in movies alongside one another in the future.
7 Tina Fey And Alice Richmond
Tina Fey is very quiet about her personal life, as she likes to keep her private life well, private. As a result, it's not very often that you get to see her kids. Back when 30 Rock was on the air, there was a scene in which there was a flashback to Liz Lemon during her childhood. Little Liz Lemon looked awfully like Tina Fey, so you couldn't help be applaud the casting director.
However, the little girl who played Little Liz Lemon was actually Tina's daughter, Alice Richmond. She was just seven years old at the time of filming, and we think it's safe to say that if she wanted to ever follow in her mother's footsteps, she definitely has a great career ahead of her.
Sylvester And Sage Stallone
Sylvester Stallone and his son Sage didn't always have the easiest relationship between the two of them as it was always a bit strained. However, they managed to put things aside when they starred in Rocky V together, where they played father and son. Naturally, being father and son, they had great on-screen chemistry together, and that Sage channeled a lot of his anger toward his father into the role, and made it that much more raw and real. Sadly on July 13, 2012, Sage passed away from a heart attack at just 36 years old.
6 Will And Jaden Smith
Will Smith and his son Jaden have acted alongside each other on quite a few occasions. In 2006, the two appeared in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, where they played father and son and had amazing on-screen chemistry together. Not to mention, they got rave reviews acting alongside one another in that movie. Most recently, the two appeared in another movie together, After Earth. It seems like Jaden has a knack for acting just like his dad and hopefully we'll see the two acting together in the future.
5 Bruce And Rumer Willis
Bruce Willis and his daughter Rumer are definitely a pretty famous father-daughter duo. Since Rumer's father is Bruce, and her mother is Demi Moore, it only makes sense that she would want to get involved in acting and other forms of show business. One time that Rumer shared the screen with her father in the movie Hostage. Naturally, she played Bruce's daughter on screen as he works to save a family that was taken, hostage. Over the years she would go on to work with both of her parents on many different projects.
4 Gwyneth Paltrow And Blythe Danner
People often forget that Blythe Danner is Gwyneth Paltrow's mother. Both being big names in Hollywood, they've booked quite a few projects over the years, one of them where they starred alongside one another. In 1994, the two worked on a theatrical production of The Seagull together, in which they both starred. They've both admitted that it wasn't easy to work together but they did have a fun time looking back at it. Gwyneth has definitely followed in her mother's footsteps since then, for sure.

We all know that Meryl Streep is an amazing actress, so we can pretty much assume that the acting genes are running through her daughter Mamie Gummer's blood. Mamie and Meryl have acted alongside each other on multiple occasions. They first shared the screen in the 1986 movie, Heartburn. Most recently, Mamie also starred alongside her mom in the movie Ricki and the Flash. Meryl and Mamie are perfect to play mother-daughter duos in movies as they look literally the same, and they're both insanely talented.
2 Robin And Zelda Williams
The world was incredibly sad when we found out that Robin Williams had sadly passed away. Thankfully before he died he was able to act alongside his daughter Zelda. Making her big acting debut in 2004, she was able to work with her dad in the film House of D. Naturally, Robin's death was a huge impact on Zelda, just like the entire world. Zelda didn't let the death of her father stop her from acting, though, as she's carrying on his legacy in her own way.

George Lopez and his daughter Mayan, have acted alongside one another before, too. She guest-starred in an episode of George Lopez where she played Jackie, a classmate of Max. Max and his friends form a rock band, and Mayan's character is fascinated with the boys in the band so she's constantly over to watch them practice. She was also in Mr. Troop Mom, a movie that also starred her dad. We're not sure whether or not she wants to follow in her dad's footsteps, however, she definitely has a bit of the acting bug just like him.
