Whether it be from reading a headline on a magazine to seeing what they're up to through what they post on their social medias, the public is enthralled by what goes in their personal lives. Reality television has provided the ability to see the ups and the downs of "real life" and adding a celebrity into the mix makes for some great entertainment.

Every time there is a new one premiering by another celebrity, the media goes wild and is intrigued to know all of the nitty-gritty of the celebrity's life. 10 Kevin Jonas
Kevin Jonas, well-know for being in the famous band, the Jonas Brothers, with his three brothers Joe and Nick, had a reality show with his wife Danielle. Two years into their marriage, Kevin and Danielle got their own reality show, Married to Jonas, which aired in August 2012 and ended in May 2013. The reality TV show followed the couple getting ready to "settle into their New Jersey home to live a happy suburban life." Evidently the show did not last long, though the two are still happily married and now have two daughters together.
9 Tia & Tamera Mowry
Tia and Tamera Mowry are two actresses commonly known for their 90s television series, "Sister, Sister" and the 2000s Disney Channel movies "Twitches" and "Twitest Too." In 2011-2013 the twins had a reality show called, Tia and Tamera, which followed both actresses lives. The episodes show them balancing "their careers in Hollywood with major life events, including motherhood and marriage."
8 Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey
Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey both had their own reality show, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, in the first years of their marriage. The television show was about the newlyweds and the differences they both shared. It highlighted Nick being "neat and orderly" and
Jessica being the opposite of that, essentially being portrayed as a "dumb blonde." The show really focused on their "odd couple relationship" and lasted for a total of three seasons.
7 Gene Simmons
The famous Kiss bassist, Gene Simmons, had his own reality show with his "longtime partner Shannon Tweed" and two kids, Nick and Sophie. The show premiered in 2006 and was called, Gene Simmons Family Jewels. It revealed what the rockstar was up to in his daily life along with his family. The show had high ratings and a total of seven seasons. The Hollywood Reporter stated, the show aired on A&E and brought a lot of fun and fortune to the network.
6 Kristin Cavallari
Kristin Cavallari is no stranger to reality TV as she began her journey to gaining her celebrity title on the famous reality shows, Laguna Beach and The Hills. In 2018 she came out with her own reality show called, Very Cavallari. The show lasted a total of three season and followed her personal life alongside her husband Jay Cutler. It additionally looked "at Cavallari as a businesswoman who launched the flagship store for her product line, Uncommon James" says GlobalNews.ca.
5 The Kardashians
The Kardashians are at the top of the hierarchy when it comes to reality television. The family set the tone for the genre and created a substantial empire based on their very successful show. Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired its first episode in 2007 and has recently ended with its final episode in 2021.
The reality show "has made megastars of Kim Kardashian West, her mother Kris Jenner, and her sisters Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie" also making the family extremely wealthy. The family's successful show went through 20 seasons, nine spin-offs (making an extra 18 seasons), and 440 total episodes. The mega-famous family is now probably the most famous family in the world, going from being unable to afford a makeup and hair team during their first production to now having a glam-team apart of daily lives.
4 Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie began their journey to fame from their hit 2000s reality show, The Simple Life. Aside from their famous last names, the two celebrities reached stardom with the show and it became quite iconic. The show's plot essentially revolved around both Hilton and Richie leaving their "wealthy and privileged" lifestyles, to go and travel across the United States to live a so-called "normal life."
The show had a total of five seasons, the first four airing on Fox and the last season airing on E! Network. The show came to an end due to Paris and Nicole going from friends to enemies and as well due to legal troubles on both ends.
3 Ozzy Osbourne
Singer Ozzy Osbourne from famous band, Black Sabbath had his own reality show with his family, which was a huge hit in the early 2000s. The Osbournes aired in 2002 on MTV and documented the life of the famous vocalist, his wife Sharon and his kids Jack and Kelly. The show gained a lot of media praise, Ozzy Osbourne became America’s favourite dysfunctional father while giving the world a myriad of off-the-cuff catchphrases." The television show became iconic and pivotal moment in pop culture.
2 Hulk Hogan
Famous wrestler Hulk Hogan, had a reality show which aired in the early 2000s. The reality show was called Hogan Knowns Best and it followed the life of Hogan as a professional wrestler and his family. The show specifically, "includes his wife Linda, his daughter Brooke Hogan and his son, Nick Hogan, who usually pull pranks on his family or others." Hogan's reality show aired on VH1 and was one of the first successful reality tv shows.
1 Flavor Flav
Rapper Flavor Flav came out with his own reality television show back in 2006. The show was titled, Flavor of Love and aired on VH1 where "women competed for the heart of Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav." The reality show aired after his relationship with Brigitte Nielsen ended and their reality show, Strange Love, came to an end.
Reality television has evidently been a substantial part of a number of celebrities lives. Many of the shows have also created a name for a lot of celebrities as well as making them a large fortune. Following the lives of celebrities is interesting to do so with media outlets but adding in a reality tv show surely provides further amusement.
