Dicaprio, who tends to keep details of his life private, owns a forty-pound Sulcata tortoise. The famous actor purchased the reptile back in 2010 at a reptile breeders' conference. He only paid the low sum of four hundred dollars to become the proud owner of this interesting and fascinating creature. It's a good thing Dicaprio loves his tortoise because this guy will likely be around for a long time. These animals tend to live until they are around seventy years old.

Owning a tiger and a pigeon: it seems a strange combination, but Mike Tyson is known for being a bit eccentric. After he lost his daughter in 2009, he struggled to regulate and comprehend his emotions.

Tippi's daughter Melanie somehow managed to survive living with large wild carnivores and has recalled that in childhood, her best friend was a lion named Neil.

George Clooney once bought his former girlfriend (and he has had a lot of them,) actress Kelly Preston, a pot-bellied pig named George as a gift. George and Kelly were not meant to be, but the superstar and the animal were going to be lifelong besties. Max was one of Clooney's closest pals for eighteen years until he passed on. George was devastated at his pig's 2006 passing. We are sure that his void was eventually filled with the love from his wife and his darling twins.

1 Paris Hilton Kicked It With A Kinkajou

Paris Hilton loves to have everything flashy (the girl works out with a Louis Vuitton bag for heaven's sake,) so, of course, she had to get herself a show stopping animal to accompany her everywhere. She chose to own a Kinkajou, which is a rainforest animal who lives high up in the treetops and rarely interacts with other animals or humans. She named her little pet Baby Luv, and the heiress & her furball were thick as thieves, Then one day Baby Luv did what wild animals do, and he bit Paris. The animal bite resulted in a trip to the ER as well as a new home for Baby Luv.
