When you're a celebrity, you give up a lot of things, one of them being your privacy. It's no secret that the public is always trying to find out what's going on in the private lives of celebrities, especially when it comes to having a baby. Many celebrities will go to any lengths to help protect their children, not wanting the public to be involved in their lives as they're children, after all. Many celebrity parents believe that their children should remain private. They aren't the ones that are famous, and they couldn't help but be born to a celebrity. These celebrity parents go out of their way to keep their identity private, and as a result, rarely share any pictures of them on social media, and if they do, you never see their face. Privacy is everything to these celebrity parents, and in all honesty, we can't blame them.

10 Mindy Kaling

In 2017, Mindy Kaling became a mother for the first time — she had her daughter Katherine, and most recently her son, Spencer. Since each child was born, Mindy has been very careful about the details she reveals about her children. Not only has she never posted their faces or shown them to the public, but she's also never revealed the identity of the father.

Mindy is very against showing off her children's faces, feeling that she's entitled to her privacy, especially when it comes to her kids. She also doesn't discuss the paternity of her children, and she's been publically single for years, speculating as to who the father could be. Mindy has said that that's something she won't discuss with the public until she discusses it with her kids. Therefore, we won't be seeing Mindy's kids any time soon.

9 Jessica Biel & Justin Timberlake

In 2015, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had their first son, Silas, and most recently welcomed their second son, Phineas. Since welcoming both of their sons into the world, Justin and Jessica have been very careful about the pictures they post of their children. Although we've seen a few pictures of Silas here and there since he was born, we've yet to see any pictures of Phineas. Justin and Jessica have limited the amount of exposure that their kids have on social media, opting to post them very rarely, if at all. They chose to be famous, while their children did not, hence their decision to shield them from the limelight.

Kerry Washington is a mother of three, two of them with her current husband Nnamdi Asomugha. The two have been married since 2013, and are very careful about what they post on social media. If you follow Kerry on social media, you'll notice that she never posts pictures of her children, and she never will. She works hard to keep her kids out of the spotlight at any and all costs. Of course, being a mother, Kerry wants to show off her children, and that's why she made a secret private Instagram account just for family photos. This way, it gets the want to post photos out of her system, and she keeps her private life private.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been very private when it comes to their children. The couple has two daughters and it's very rare that you even do see them. When you follow them on Instagram, don't expect to see any pictures of the two girls, as Eva has said that they won't be posting any photos of her daughters until they can give consent themselves. Like many other celebs, Eva and Ryan believe that because their children didn't ask to be famous, they shouldn't be in the spotlight like their parents.

Like many other celebrity parents, Ashton and Mila realize that they were able to choose to become famous while their kids, didn't. The two actually believe that their kids should have the right to choose whether or not they'd like to be in the spotlight, as it's their life and their decision. As a result, the two would rather have their kids make their own decision about how much exposure they'd like, rather than make that decision for them.

In fact, Adele took a British photo agency to court when they took photos of her son on a playground. As a result, Adele won the settlement, as she didn't consent to the photos being taken. Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden recently surprised the world in January 2020 when they made a huge announcement that the two had become parents. Not much is known about their daughter Raddix Madden besides her name. When the two shared the news about their daughter, they also made the announcement that the world shouldn't expect to see any pictures of her. They chose to protect their daughter's privacy by not posting any pictures or sharing any other information about her. We respect their decision and can only imagine how adorable she really is.

They have decided that they want their daughters to make the decision as to whether or not they want to make their faces known to the public, and that they respect their decision, whatever it may be. They believe that their children shouldn't be punished just because their parents chose to be famous.

Eventually, Tyra wound up posting a picture of him, even though she really didn't want to. While out in public, the paparazzi had managed to get pictures of York. Deciding that she wanted to be the one to post the first picture of her son, Tyra opted to post the picture on social media before their paparazzi could. In the end, the paparazzi wound up not getting any photos of him, and she didn't have to post the picture after all.

1 Tom Daley & Dustin Lance Black

Olympic diver Tom Daley and his husband screenwriter and producer Dustin Lance Black had their son Robbie in 2018. Since then, they've been very careful to not show his face to the public. They've made it known that they don't plan on posting any pictures on social media that shows Robbie's face. If you follow the two on social media, you'd notice that if they ever do post a picture of their son, it never includes his face, as it's always hidden. It's unclear if they'll ever change their mind about sharing their baby with the world, but for now, we'll respect their privacy and assume that Robbie is one adorable boy.
