10 Chiwetel Ejiofor

Chiwetel Ejiofor has appeared in a number of hit films and television shows, including his roles in Doctor Strange, The Lion King, 12 Years A Slave, and 2012, to name a few. Although the majority of the characters Ejiofor has played is paired with an American accent, it appears as if Chiwetel has been fooling us the entire time.

The actor was born in Forest Gate, a town just outside of London, England. It was here that he attended the National Youth Theatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, making it clear he had his sights set on being an actor from the get-go.

9 Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale is without a doubt a name that you have heard of before! The star has spent most of her career appearing in American movies, whether it be Click or Serendipity, putting on an American accent, however, she's also appeared in the Underworld series and Van Hesling, both of which she not only speaks multiple languages but carries a British accent.

The star is most known for his role in Sons of Anarchy, and The Gentlemen, however, despite his American accent, the star is actually British, so much that he checks off most of the UK when it comes to his nationality. Hunnam is not only British, but he's also Scottish, and Irish, which is why the actor tends to have a more forced accent throughout his American film projects.

Naomi Watts is certainly an A-list star that is also known for her many accents! The star can do an impeccable American, British and Australian accent, making us all wonder where exactly she's from.
