Many celebrities spend most of their time outside the States and it's definitely easier to do so if they hold a dual citizenship. Some A-listers became American citizens after finding fame in Hollywood and living in the country for decades, while others started off as Americans and eventually applied to get a foreign passport in addition to the American one.
