Marriage and relationships in general are a tricky thing, that's for sure. People sometimes rush into things because love can make them feel empowered, but then realized that the person they have committed to isn't the right one for them. Baywatch star Pamela Anderson's love life has made the headlines quite a few times. In this case, she caught the public's attention by marrying Rick Salomon on two occasions. The two of them used to be very good friends before getting romantically involved, and they married for the first time in 2007. The marriage didn't last long, though, but they stayed in touch after the divorce. In 2014, they tried to make things work and ended up tying the knot again, but unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. They divorced again the next year.

Because of the time Elizabeth Taylor lived in, her love life was unfairly judged and frowned upon. She had several lovers and was married eight times, two of them to Richard Burton. The two actors starred in many movies together. They started dating in the early 60s, married in 1964, and divorced in 1974. The following year they reconciled and remarried, but it didn't last this time. They got divorced in 1976. Despite not working out, their relationship was referred to as "the marriage of the century."

8 Eminem & Kim Scott

Eminem met Kimberly Scott when they were both just kids. Kim ended up moving with him and his mom when she was 13 because she lived in a youth home, and when they were teenagers they started dating. Since then, they had an on and off relationship, which ended up with them getting married in 1999, right when the rapper's career was taking off.

7 Barbara Walters & Merv Adelson

In 1981, the amazing journalist Barbara Walters married CEO Merv Adelson. The couple divorced in 1984, only to remarry two years later. After that, they stayed together until 1992. Despite the way things ended, Barbara has a great appreciation for their time together.

"He was a kind, funny, thoughtful man," she said after Merv passed away. "Would things have worked out differently for Merv if we had stayed together? I don’t know. Probably not... I have no regrets."

6 Frida Khalo & Diego Rivera

The tumultuous love affair between artists Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera is unarguably iconic. The two of them got together in 1928 and married the following year. Their first marriage lasted for ten years, finally divorcing in 1939. Despite that, they remained friends. It was in 1940, after Frida's health suffered severe difficulties, that they got back together and married. Although their relationship was anything but conventional, it was obvious that they really loved each other and stayed together until Frida's death in 1954.

5 Elliott Gould & Jennifer Bogart

Elliott Gould has had a very extensive acting career, but younger people probably know him from his role in Friends as Jack Geller and Ezra Goldman on Ray Donovan. Elliott was married to singer Barbra Streisand, with whom he has a son, but after their divorce, he started dating Jennifer Bogart.

The couple married in 1973, and they already had two kids. They divorced in 1975, only to get married again in 1978. After that, they were together for over a decade before deciding to split up again in 1989.

4 Jean-Claude Van Damme & Gladys Portugues

Bodybuilder Gladys Portugues was Jean-Claude Van Damme's third wife and the love of his life. They have two children together. They got married in 1987, but they got divorced in 1992 when Jean-Claude had an affair with actress Darcy LaPier. He married Darcy in 1994 and they had a son together, but ultimately their marriage didn't work out. In 1999, he and Gladys reconciled and decided to give their marriage another chance. It hasn't always been easy for them, but they've been together ever since.

3 Larry King & Alene Akins

In 1961, TV host Larry King married Playboy bunny Alene Akins and legally adopted her son. However, the marriage didn't last and they divorced the following year. Larry married another woman after that, but when they got divorced he went back to Alene. The couple remarried in 1969 and had a daughter, but once again it didn't work out. The couple got a divorce in 1972. Sadly, their children passed away in 2020.

This is a very unusual love story. Marie Osmond first married Stephen Craig in 1982 and they had a child, but their marriage ended in 1985. After that, they went their separate ways and moved on with their lives. In 1986, Marie married Brian Blosil, with whom she had seven children, 2 biological and 5 adopted. After being together for over two decades, the couple divorced amicably in 2007. The incredible thing is that, in 2011, 26 years after their divorce, Marie and Stephen reconciled and remarried. They have been together ever since. Sometimes it's meant to be.

1 Judge Judy & Jerry Sheindlin

The lovable Judy Sheindlin, popularly known as Judge Judy from her TV show, found the love of her life in Jerry Sheindlin. They got married in 1977 and divorced in 1990. However, it took them less than a year to realize it had been a mistake, and they reconciled and remarried in 1991, staying together to this day.
