Magic Mike fans, get ready to dive back into that world again! A new reality show based off of the two movies is coming soon to HBO. Finding Magic Mike is aiming to find the real Magic Mike. This comes only a few years after Magic Mike Live! premiered in Las Vegas.

Magic Mike the movie is a 2012 film that starred Channing Tatum and a group of men (Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Matthew McConaughey) who are male strippers. They guide the new guy (Alex Pettyfer) and whole bunch of raunchiness happens. The movie is loosely based off of Tatum's life, who became a stripper at 18-years-old.

Nearly a decade later, the aspect is coming back, but in a more realistic setting. Will Tatum be involved in this new project? Here's what we know about the new Magic Mike reality show, Finding Magic Mike.

8 The Show's Plotline

According to IMDb, Finding Magic Mike is about "Ten men who have 'lost their magic' [and] come together in a competition series, baring their souls and more as they learn to perform routines with one being crowned the Real Magic Mike." The winner will go home with a cash prize. A Magic Mike bootcamp, if you will with daring dance routines and eager grandmas. The competitors are taking it very seriously but having fun in the process. Most of them do not have exotic dancer training.

7 When And Where You Can Watch 'Finding Magic Mike'

Finding Magic Mike premieres on HBO Max on Thursday, December 16. The ten contestants will undergo vigorous training to turn themselves into the real Magic Mike. So, if you do not have the streaming service now and want to give yourself an early Christmas present, be sure to sign up to see how it all unfolds. Not much is known about the cast yet, but we do know they are a bunch of regular guys.

6 How Channing Tatum Is Involved

Channing Tatum was the main star of the original movies, he founded the live stage production and is now hopping on this project as executive producer. He joins Steven Soderbergh, who produced the original films, Ocean's Eleven and more. It is unclear if Tatum will show up on the show, but what better motivation for the men would it be than to see the original Magic Mike and get some tips from him? Hopefully, there will be a routine from him at one point. It's what the viewers want Channing!

5 Who Else Is Involved With 'Finding Magic Mike'

Tatum is not the only person behind this project, however. The reality show will also feature Adam Rodriguez, who was in the films, Alison Faulk, a choreographer and director, Vincent Marini, the executive producer of Magic Mike Live and Luke Broadlick, who starred in Magic Mike XXL. Broadlick and Rodriguez will serve as mentors on the show.

It takes a village to make these guys look good! Alongside Tatum and Soderbergh, the other producers include Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Gregory Jacobs, Nick Wechsler, Vincent Marini, Alycia Rossiter, Cassie Lambert Scalettar, Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, David Tibballs, Adam Rodriguez, Anita Brown, Kevin Boyer, and Jenny Chan.

3 The Judges

Finding Magic Mike needs judges to determine who will actually be the winner. The guest judges include Whitney Cummings, Nikki Glaser, Nicole Scherzinger, Amanda Seales, and Robin Thede. Scherzinger is no stranger to judging and being on a panel with her experience on I Can Do That and The Masked Singer. We are sure these women will enjoy themselves immensely.

2 The 'Magic Mike' Legacy

With the new show airing next month, the legacy of Magic Mike is coming up again. Two movies were made: Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL, which can be watched on HBO Max or Hulu Plus. After those movies became huge hits, Tatum decided to take the concept to the stage and create a live Las Vegas show. That show moved internationally to London, Berlin and Australia and will be going on a 2022 UK Tour. Critics rate it at 79 percent on Rotten Tomatoes while the audience gave it 60 percent. We can't wait to see how this new competition show will play out.

Most people are on board for the show and can't wait for it to air. One Twitter user, @kerensacadenas tweeted, "i love art." Other user say they will be watching, some even with their wives. However, one particular Twitter user has no interest in the show. @GurlThatj tweeted, "@E_NightlyPop NO interest in Finding Magic Mike #NIGHTLYPOP."

However, others have no clue it is happening or even know what it is. @zoegjones tweeted, "What's Magic Mike? A new tv show about Michael Jordan?" -my dad." Who know what this show will do for these men. Hopefully, give them a lot more confidence in themselves.
