The path to stardom is one that is unique for each traveler, and while it may take years, those with the talent and the determination can find a way to make a name for themselves in the business. Some performers, like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Lady Gaga, can excel in multiple areas while entertaining millions around the world.

Over time, Charlotte McKinney has become a performer that has been able to use her platform in the world of modeling to transition into acting. Baywatch was a pretty big role for the star, and ever since the film made its way into theaters and cracked up audiences, she has continued to stay busy.

Let’s take a look and see what Charlotte McKinney has been up to since the success of Baywatch.

She Appeared In Fantasy Island

Baywatch was a successful project that got the ball rolling for Charlotte McKinney in terms of her mainstream appeal as an actress, and she was able to keep this going by landing a role in a few other successful projects on the big screen.

According to IMDb, one of the most notable works that Charlotte McKinney took part in since starring in Baywatch was the film Fantasy Island, which was brought to life on the big screen by Blumhouse. Those that have been paying attention to what Blumhouse has brought to the table over the years are well aware of the fact that they are able to utilize a pretty minimal budget in order to net a sizable profit at the box office.

According to Box Office Mojo, Fantasy Island was able to net itself $48 million at the box office. Now, this may not sound like a film that was a blockbuster hit by any stretch of the imagination, but when you take into consideration that the film only had a $7 million budget, things look awfully successful.

Charlotte McKinney may not have had a huge role in the film, but she was still able to land herself an acting credit alongside the film’s stars like Michael Peña and Maggie Q. As such, this particular credit does stand out when looking at McKinney's overall filmography.

Not only has the performer been able to stay busy on the big screen, but she has also found herself busy working in television, as well.

She Was On The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Some performers out there were just born to be in front of the camera, and Charlotte McKinney, despite finding her biggest triumphs on the big screen, has also landed some work on television through the years. Of note, the actress did appear as herself on the hit series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

It should be noted that McKinney appeared in the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt special, which aired earlier in 2020. That special, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend,” utilized a few different guest stars, including none other than Daniel Radcliffe, to bring the script to life.

It is interesting to see that McKinney was simply playing herself on the special, given the fact that some would not consider her to be a major A-list star. However, thanks to having roles in other notable projects and thanks to being a huge success on social media and in the world of modeling, it does make sense that the show saw the potential that she brought to the table.

Turns out, people loved just about everything in regard to the special, and according to IMDb, it did find itself nominated for a couple of Emmys.

She’s Been In A Few Smaller Projects

Fantasy Island and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are two impressive credits that most actors would love to have under their belt, and as nice as this is for Charlotte McKinney, she has also been able to land roles and other projects.

When looking at her work on the big screen, the remake of the film Flatliners is a title that certainly stands out. This film was released in 2017, the same year as Baywatch, meaning that she was having herself quite a come up in the game. That film would go on to be a modest financial success. Elsewhere in the world of film, McKinney has appeared in projects like Guest House and The Argument.

On the small screen, Charlotte McKinney does have fewer credits to her name than she does in film. IMDb does show that McKinney was able to secure roles in Historical Roasts and in MacGyver after appearing in Baywatch.
