Eighteen years ago the world was introduced to the iconic all-girl pop group, The Cheetah Girls. This 2003 film marked the first Disney Channel original movie to be a musical. Three years later, fans would be graced with the High School Musical trilogy but let's not forget where things started. The Cheetah Girls started these sing-along movies where your seven-year-old self would get up on your feet and start dancing.

Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan, and Kiely Williams played teenagers in high school, but their real ages were 17 (Kiely), 18 (Raven), 19 (Sabrina), and 20 (Adrienne). The second movie came out in 2006 and was the last time we would see Raven-Symoné portray Galleria. In 2008, the third film was shot in Udaipur and Mumbai in India for four months. The Cheetah Girls: One World marked the final film in this franchise. Where are The Cheetah Girls eighteen years later?

6 'The Cheetah Girls' Was A Massive Success

It's safe to say these films were a massive success for Disney Channel. The film's DVD sold over 800,000 copies and the movie received over 84 million viewers worldwide. Since there are so many reboots and spin-off series making a comeback these days, fans would love to re-live their childhood with another Cheetah Girls film. The exotic locations, the nostalgic outfits, the soundtrack... it's time for a new film and some new music for the culture! While fans try to manifest another film, let's see where the ladies are who made it all happen.

5 Raven-Symoné - Galleria

Before starring in The Cheetah Girls she made her Disney Channel Original Movie debut as Nebula Wade in Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999). In 2001, Raven was the voice of Stephanie in the Disney Channel original series The Proud Family and the voice of Monique on Kim Possible. The actress then landed her own Disney Channel show called That's So Raven. When The Cheetah Girls premiered a few months later, she was already a familiar face for fans.

In 2011, Raven got another show under her belt called The State of Georgia which lasted only one season. After the ABC Family show was a bust, she appeared on CMT's Nashville, ABC's Black-ish, and Freeform's The Bold Type. Currently, Raven-Symoné returned back to her roots and she is starring in the Disney Channel spinoff Raven's Home. The series has been on since 2017 and is preparing for its fifth season. In 2020, Raven married her now-wife, Miranda Maday.

4 Raven Leaves The Show

It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows on the set of The Cheetah Girls for Raven-Symoné. She was the biggest name to land a role in the film, since she starred as Olivia Kendall on NBC's The Cosby Show at just four years old. Symoné notably did not return for the third film to "focus on her own career."

"Although "catfights" and "territorial issues" were initially stated to be the reason, Symoné revealed that she did not appear in the third film due to feeling "excluded" and "ostracized" on the set of the second film, likely due to the fact that the three other girls had spent so much time together after being put together in the real-life Cheetah Girls recording group. It was also revealed that Raven and Williams didn't get along because of jealousy about Raven's role on The Cosby Show and Raven revealed she would've gone to jail if it wasn't for the actress who played her mom who had to keep her tame during filming."

3 Adrienne Bailon - Chanel

Adrienne Bailon's career didn't really take off until she played Chanel in The Cheetah Girls. Bailon tried to launch a singing career as part of a trio group called 3LW. Little did she know that was born to wear spots! After Raven left the franchise, Adrienne Bailon naturally became the lead and carried on for the third film. After she retired from her role as Chanel, she appeared in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008) and Lovestruck: The Musical (2013).

Adrienne Bailon still continued a career in television but not in the same way. She is currently a co-host on the daytime talk show The Real alongside Loni Love, Jeannie Mai Jenkins, and Garcelle Beauvais. Adrienne Bailon now goes by her married name, Adrienne Houghton, and is a step-mom to four children.

2 Sabrina Bryan - Dorinda

Sabrina Bryan may have been a familiar face to some when she landed the role of Dorinda. Bryan was in the movie Matilda and briefly on CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful. For most, Sabrina Bryan made her debut in the acting world as one-fourth of the talented girl group. After appearing in all three films, Bryan showed off her skills on ABC's Dancing With the Stars with partner Mark Ballas. The pair even dated for a bit but the ballroom romance was short-lived. In 2021, Sabrina Bryan returned to the DWTS floor with pro dancer Louis van Amstel. She lost both seasons but has won so much more. The actress is married and just welcomed her first child, a baby girl.

1 Kiely Williams - Aqua

Similar to co-star Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams attempted to find fame with 3LW. Luckily for the two ladies, The Cheetah Girls was their big break. She also appeared in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 alongside Adrienne. Williams went on to appear in a few movies like The House Bunny, Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale, and Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming. In 2016, Kiely Williams married Brandon Cox with costar, Sabrina Bryan, as one of her bridesmaids. The couple welcomed their son two years later.

No matter how far they go, these four stars will always be remembered as The Cheetah Girls.
