A few months ago, Chris Evans made the ever-so-embarrassing error of posting a nude image of himself to his Instagram story. Of course the slip up didn’t go unnoticed, and the comments poured in almost immediately after the post went up. One of the clever responses to his mistake was written by his movie mom, Jamie Lee Curtis.

It seems these two are back at the fun banter once again and this time, they even drew in the attention of Lionsgate Entertainment, who also had some commentary to share.

The Banter...

Jamie Lee Curtis' response to seeing Evans completely in the buff and so exposed was to write: “"My boy! Proud of him. Got MY attention!” Many fans found this to be a strange and awkward response since she played his mom in the movie in the movie Knives Out, and her comment didn’t seem like a one that a mom would make.

Deciding to continue the conversation in the comedic way that only these two could pull off, Chris Evans and Jamie Lee Curtis are putting this moment right back in the spotlight and playing it up once more. Like the gift that keeps on giving, these two actors have managed to extend the jokes stemming from this as they continue to entertain their fans off-screen.

How It Played Out…

Jamie Lee Curtis recently took to Twitter to write; “Can I play your mother? In every film you do?  Evans replied; “It’s going in the contracts x,” and the banter continued.

Fans were fabulously entertained by this back and forth exchange, and there was enough interest generated that even Lionsgate decided to jump in on the conversation. They chimed in to say “yes please” and the “official” commentary from them led to a flurry of funny messages from fans.

Lionsgate Entertainment Is All-In

When a giant entertainment company such as Lionsgate weighs in on a conversation like this one, fans can't help but anticipate... There’s nothing they want more than to see Chris Evans and Jamie Lee Curtis get back together again as a mother and son team. The commentary on this Twitter feed has erupted into requests for more mutual movies, and full support for these two putting their heads together to entertain the masses as a team.

Fan comments include; “you two are amazing together,” and “I am loving this conversation. Thank you for Friday sunshine.” Another fan summed up the bond that the actors in this movie seem to share by stating; “Really seems like everyone involved in Knives Out had THE MOST FUN working on it and it shows.”
