Getting over with fans in Hollywood goes a long way in helping a performer become a star, and once someone wins the appeal of the masses, they are off to the races.

Chris Pratt was able to use his exceptional comedic timing and likable personality to get over with fans, and at this point, he is a major star who has been on hit shows and has led massive blockbuster hits on the big screen.

Recently, it was announced that Pratt was making a return to the small screen, and the amount of money that he is being paid puts him in a league of his own. Let's look at how much he's making for The Terminal List.

Chris Pratt Has Been A Huge Success

At this stage in his Hollywood journey, Chris Pratt has been a star for years and has been able to thrive on the big and small screen alike. Pratt came from humble beginnings and was basically discovered from out of nowhere, but once he got the chance to shine, he made sure to make big things happen.

Back in 2002, Pratt began his time on Everwood, and he would remain on the show until 2006. This was his first taste of mainstream success, and from there, the actor would make sure to continue his upward trend in entertainment. Movies like Wanted and Bride Wars were a nice boost, and in 2009, the star landed a role that would change his career for the better.

From 2009 to 2015, Chris Pratt starred as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation, and this role took him from notable performer to genuine star in no time. The series might not have had the strongest first season, but once it really hit its stride, it turned into one of the most popular shows on all of television.

From that point on, Pratt would continue to become an even bigger star, and as it stands now, he is the face of two huge franchises on the big screen.

He's Currently Anchoring Two Film Franchises

In 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy made its way into theaters, and while some people were skeptical about the rag-tag outfit fitting into the MCU, the movie wound up doing big business while providing the MCU a much-needed hero team. Pratt was cast as Star-Lord in the film, and he was a perfect choice for the character.

In total, the actor has appeared in 4 different MCU movies, and he is slated to appear in both Thor: Love and Thunder and in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Both of those films are poised to make a mint at the box office.

In 2015, just one year after Guardians became a smash hit, Pratt starred in Jurassic World, which was another colossal hit that spawned a franchise. There have been two movies in the franchise so far, and each has grossed over $1 billion. A third film, Jurassic World: Dominion, is set for release in 2022.

Now, it goes without saying that Pratt has been laughing all the way to the bank since becoming a huge star, but recent news broke that the actor will officially become the highest-paid actor on television with his next project.

He Will Make $1.4 Million Per Episode Of 'The Terminal List'

The Terminal List, which will be on Amazon Prime, is set to debut in early 2022 as of now, and it has been reported that Chris Pratt will star in the show alongside names like Taylor Kitsch and Constance Wu. The show has a lot of potential, and Amazon is sparing no expense for the series.

According to Daily Mail, Pratt will be the highest-paid actor on television thanks to the show giving him a staggering $1.4 million per episode. This is a rare occurrence, as most shows tend to wait for success before doling out huge contracts, but Pratt has already starred on two hit shows and has plenty of name value.

Based on the novel of the same name, another thing that this show has going for it is that it already has a built-in group of fans thanks to being a success in the pages. It will also be looking into tapping into the veteran market, as well.
