Courtney Stodden has responded to Chrissy Teigen’s apology in an Instagram post, claiming the model had blocked them on Twitter.

The singer, who has recently come out as non-binary, had accused Teigen of bullying them when they were a teenager.

Courtney Stodden Says Chrissy Teigen’s Apology Is Insincere

“I accept her apology and forgive her,” Stodden wrote on Instagram.

“But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private,” they continued.

Stodden also included a screen grab showing that Teigen had blocked them on Twitter. They also explained they feel Teigen apologized publicly to save face.

“In fact, she blocked me on Twitter. All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her ‘wokeness’ is a broken record,” Stodden finally wrote.

Teigen has addressed the claims she has been abusive towards Courtney Stodden in the past in a Twitter thread yesterday (May 12).

The model said she had connected with Stodden privately, but also wanted to apologize publicly.

Chrissy Teigen Claims She Reached Out To Stodden In Private

Stodden made headlines a decade ago for their marriage to 50-year-old actor Doug Hutchison. Stodden was 16 at the time.

Earlier this month, they revealed they received hateful comments from celebrities back then, including DMs from Teigen.

“[Chrissy] wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take 'a dirt nap' but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, 'I can’t wait for you to die,'" they alleged in an interview with The Daily Beast.

Teigen admitted to being abusive towards Stodden in a Twitter thread.

“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bullshit in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel,” Teigen wrote on Twitter.

She also alleged to have reached out to Stodden in private, a claim Stodden disputed in their Instagram post.
