During an eyebrow transplant, a cosmetic procedure, hair grafts (plugs) are transplanted to the area of the brow. These grafts are intended to promote the development of new hairs, providing the appearance of greater fullness. The procedure itself is similar to a typical hair transplant. For eyebrow hair grafts, the hairs above your ears are used.

In addition to moving the individual hairs, a surgeon also moves the hair follicles. This allows for the growth of new hairs in your brows after the initial transplanted ones fall out. After giving you general anesthetic, a surgeon will make minute incisions in your brows at the follicle supply and transplant sites. The procedure takes two to three hours to complete.

Why Did Chrissy Teigen Get Another Eyebrow Transplant?

Society frequently looks to the rich and famous, like celebrities having brow transplants, for the latest beauty trends. If current Hollywood fashion is any indication, bigger brows are the newest trend. In the past, thin brows were popular, but nowadays, more and more A-list celebrities are choosing fuller, thicker brows. They appear more dramatic and organic thanks to this.

Having eyebrows might seem insignificant. But they're essential for conveying emotion, framing face features, and they may give your look personality. Some celebrities with thick, natural brows include Emilia Clarke, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Cara Delevingne. The thicker brow trend is being followed by numerous well-known celebrities. Yet not everyone has thick, even brows; others have thin, irregular, or even nonexistent brows. This may upset them, especially with the trend toward larger brows. Now they can fix that.

Chrissy likes to fit in and be caught up with the trends. The current trend is big full eyebrows, so Chrissy got them. She has said she likes the fuller look and wants hers to look fluffy. As the hair used for an eyebrow transplant is taken from the scalp, it will continue to grow on the eyebrow just as it would if it were still on the scalp. To preserve the hair on the eyebrows at the desired length after an eyebrow transplant, they need to be trimmed routinely.

Also, these hairs will fall out like the hair on our heads, or the follicles may need to be adjusted and/or added to. This is the reason for the second installment that Chrissy got. Adding more hair and getting the brows trimmed and evened out.

How Much Did Chrissy Teigen’s Eyebrow Transplant Cost?

On average, eyebrow implants cost between $3,000 and $6,000. Chrissy Teigen's specific procedure cost $6,000 at a typical office. However, Chrissy’s procedure was done by Dr. Jason Diamond and Dr. Jason Champagne. They are Beverly Hills plastic surgeons. Dr. Jason Diamond is known for his work with the entire Kardashian family, he has also worked with Katy Perry; not for eyebrow transplants, though.

Teigen’s procedure took five hours to complete, and cost around $20,000. She had roughly 250 new hairs transferred into each brow. As far as her follow-up procedures they cost around $10,000. That is for making them even and trimming them up.

The Kitson shop, which gained notoriety in the 2000s thanks to Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, publishes a disparaging ‘People of the Year wall’ each year in which they publicly denounce those they believe to be hypocrites and who need to be held accountable for their behavior.

People took to social media over her eyebrow transplant dragging her with comments like:

  • 'The world is burning down but thank heaven that Chrissy Teigen was able to transplant her eyebrows!'
  • 'I am so thankful that #chrissyteigen was able to get an eyebrow transplant. What a tragic nightmare she has been going through!!!'
  • 'Saw the headline of an article yesterday that @chrissyteigen got an eyebrow transplant. Me? Trying to continue to pay bills and live life.' #tryingnottojudge #richpeopleproblems

Of course, there was a lot more than that, and they were not as nice. The main point people were trying to get across is that there are big problems out in the world, people who need life-saving transplants and can’t get them. Those who lose their eyebrows due to a disease and don’t whine about it.
