Xtina came to play at the Latin Grammy's last night with her fiery red hair and slick black outfit. Christina Aguilera attended the event for the first time since 2000 to promote her new single, "Pa Mis Muchachas," alongside Becky G, Nathy Peluso, and Nicki Nicole.

The pop star took to the stage and performed for her fans and absolutely delivered. She also teased another song from her new Latin album called, "Somos Nada."

Her Latin version of "Genie in a Bottle," won her a Latin Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Album in the 2000s.

"My Latin GRAMMY Award is one of my most valued possessions, and returning to this show brings back incredibly fond memories of my first Latin album, Mi Reflejo," the singer said, before praising her Latina colleagues in helping her bring "Pa Mis Muchachas" to life.

Christina wanted to recreate the magic and make a comeback to Latin music. She is one of the few artists who have found major success in both the American and Latin markets.

Latin Grammys Awards 2021

Christina Aguilera takes to the stage to perform her new solo.

“It’s been a project that I wanted to follow up for so long but I’m so happy that it’s happening now as a grown woman,” the 40-year-old singer-songwriter admits. “Having been a mother, having experienced the career I have, I bring a different view and set of passions. Now it’s coming from a deeper perspective and wanting to explore.”

Fans are so ecstatic that Aguilera has found her way back to Latin music. She also wanted to dedicate her new song to Latin women and that is why it was so important that these three ladies were on stage with her.

“We wanted to make sure that this was definitely a representation of Latin women who are the strength of a family, the backbone. In the song, we mention that I’m a woman that is strong because I was raised by a woman that was strong and so was she before that. It’s something that gets passed down by generations. I chose Nathy, Becky, and Nicki because of the strength they exude.”

Their 2021 live performance was certainly one to remember!
