We all know Miley Cyrus, pop icon and ex-Disney star. Miley Cyrus, the child of Billy Ray Cyrus, was such a handful growing up that few of us even knew she had siblings, let alone anything about them. Now that Noah Cyrus has been launching her own work (and has been dating one of the most prominent influencers out there right now) it’s no surprise that we’ve started looking into her sibling history. Unlike the Kardashians, who all seemed to be joined at the hip, or the Silva twins, who share pretty much everything, Miley Cyrus is not incredibly close with all her siblings. Case in point, Christopher Cody. To be honest, we had to Google this guy a couple of times before we actually believed that he was related to the Miley Cyrus. Sure enough, he is. Like other half-siblings, Cody wasn’t necessarily fully in the family growing up. He’s made a nice little life for himself, though, and is pretty interesting; even without the fame!
He’s Unlike The Other Cyruses
No shade at Miley and Noah Cyrus, but boy, do those girls have some fierce and unique personalities. It’s no surprise that they tend to take up much of the spotlight. The total antithesis, Christopher Cody has ardently denied any spotlight going on him. He’s totally unlike Miley Cyrus, even though the year of birth is the same. Half siblings, Christopher Cody grew up far, far removed from the fame of Hannah Montana. He and his mother were but a blip in Billy Ray Cyrus’s life, even if Christopher Cody has existed for longer than Miley Cyrus.
He’s Just As Good, Though
It’s not like they don’t talk about him because he’s not good enough. Quite the opposite, in fact. Some people believe that he’s the most accomplished of all the Cyrus kids, though those are typically not the people who listen to Miley Cyrus. Christopher Cody “is the 2017’s Alumni of the University of Texas School of Law. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is a Litigation Associate at Baker Botts L.L.P. Prior to that he was working as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Marina Garcia Marmolejo of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas,” proving that while Miley got the street smarts, Christopher got the academic prowess. And neither seem to be complaining!
In fact, there’s no complaining anywhere. People always talk about how music must run in the Cyrus genes, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for poor Christopher Cody. He’s stuffed himself firmly into the law and order niche, and has since created his own loving family. He and his mother did well growing up, and he certainly doesn’t have anything bad to say about Billy Ray Cyrus. There’s no bad blood between him and any of the Cyrus siblings, even if they don’t hang out. There isn’t anything particularly great between them either, but that’s okay. Families come in all forms, and Christopher Cody has done well for himself, what with being a big shiny lawyer and family man and all.
