While Clare Crawley hasn't been one of the most popular cast members on The Bachelorette, it seems like many fans feel badly for her as they don't like how Dale Moss broke up with her.
When discussing how Clare was shocked by the breakup in a Reddit thread, one fan thinks that Clare could have figured out some red flags earlier on but she was convinced that she and Dale would make it from the start: "If she'd slowed down her pursuit she might've seen the warning signs."

Dean said, "100 percent, it was a PR move from Dale to be able to find a career [in] hosting or whatever it is, that’s my assessment."
