Comedy Trio Blonde Jokes Drops Teachers' Parody Of 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'

On the 20-year anniversary of Britney Spears' iconic debut single, "Hit Me Baby One More Time," comedy trio Blonde Jokes released a hilarious parody called "Pay Me For My Overtime." The L.A. based all-female troupe play underpaid and overworked teachers in their video.

Cathy Marks, Kacey Spivey, and Heidi-Marie Ferren are the three talented members of Blonde Jokes who recreate some of Britney's most classic looks. Their new take highlights the lack of funding available and low salaries. Not only do they recreate "Hit Me Baby One More Time", but they also do some costumes and moves from the classroom to the basketball court. Each lady gets her own verse on the downside of teaching, and her own chance of being the iconic Ms. Britney Spears. It's a funny take on a serious subject.

Bored Panda shared this must-see video. The nostalgia for classic B-Spears is worth a watch alone. The choreography and costumes are on point too!

Cathy, Kacey, and Heidi are quite obviously all blonde and started Blonde Jokes as a way to take on the dumb blonde stereotype. The three of them works as a team to write, produce, and edit their own content. The create and upload a new video every Wednesday for our enjoyment. And of course, they are anything but dumb. They're some really clever and smart woman. They knew this video would be a hit...one more time! Please excuse the pun.

Though it is a parody it is a sad reminder that teachers in America are grossly underpaid. Qualified teachers barely make enough money to survive and often have to work second jobs. That's not fair considering we all utilized teachers to acquire an education and get to where we are today, So yes, let's please pay teachers some more. They deserve it!

Still, the video is funny and fun to watch. It'll make you bust out the choreography one more time.  Hopefully, it will get a very important point across too. Did this make you LOL? Did you love the Britney aspect of it? Let us know what you thought in the comments!
