At any given time, there are a few child actors that have managed to rise to the top of the heap in terms of fame and success. For example, former child stars like Macaulay Culkin, Drew Barrymore, Shirley Temple, the Olsen Twins, and Keshia Knight Pulliam all captured the hearts of the masses. On top of all those former kid actors, Corey Feldman has to be included on any list of the most successful child stars of all-time.

Featured in a slew of movies that remain beloved decades after they were first released, Corey Feldman’s filmography includes films like Gremlins and Stand by Me. Additionally, Feldman became known for his appearances alongside another popular child star from that same era, Corey Haim. Often referred to as the “Two Coreys” the pair headlined films like The Lost Boys, Dream a Little Dream, and License to Drive. On top of all those credits, Feldman also starred in The Goonies, a film that is so beloved that fans still care about its cast to this day.

In a lot of cases, former child stars have opted to leave the spotlight behind. On the other end of the spectrum, Corey Feldman has seemingly always had an affinity for the public eye, even after his acting career hit the skids. Despite that fact, a lot of Feldman’s fans know very little about the three women he has been married to over the years.

Feldman’s First “Wife”

Of all the women who walked down the aisle with Corey Feldman, there is no doubt that the most famous one is his first wife, Vanessa Marcil. A highly successful actor, Marcil starred in several popular shows including General Hospital and Las Vegas. She also starred in the final two seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210. In fact, Marcil garnered headlines in 2018 when she called out one of her former castmates and real-life ex-boyfriend Brian Austin Green and his wife at the time, Megan Fox.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Vanessa Marcil said she tied the knot with Corey Feldman on a whim and she didn’t even tell her parents about their union for almost a year. Continuing on, Marcil said; “We were kids. I was 18, it was puppy love, and we thought it would be fun to fly to Las Vegas at 3 o’clock in the morning and get married. Corey was going through his little teen-heartthrob period. His publicist and agent didn’t want anyone to know about [the marriage]. We were legally married for about three years, but it wasn’t a conventional marriage. We never moved in together or really did any of the married stuff. Really, how much of a marriage can you have at 18?”.

During a 1999 Entertainment Weekly interview, Vanessa Marcil said some intriguing things about her 4-year marriage to Corey Feldman. “[The marriage was] actually a joke we played on our friends. We were messed-up kids, you know? Now that I’m in the public eye, it’s turned into this whole wrong rumor. To say that we were really married is completely not true.”

Wedded “Reality” Stars

From 2002 until 2014, Corey Feldman was married to the model Susie Feldman née Sprague. After meeting in a club in January 2002, the couple decided to tie the knot only nine months later and to say that their wedding ceremony was unique is an understatement. Since Corey was filming The Surreal Life at the time, a “reality” show in which he lived with several other former stars, their wedding became part of the series. Officiated by MC Hammer, who’d become an ordained minister, their ceremony was memorable to be sure.

Not through with “reality” TV yet, Corey and Susie Feldman would go on to star in a series of their own with his longtime friend Corey Haim. Titled The Two Coreys, their “reality” show lasted two seasons and came to an end shortly before Haim lost his life to his longtime struggles with addiction. The same year The Two Coreys stopped airing new episodes, Susie filed for divorce, a process that would go on to take five-years. Since they went their separate ways, the former couple has continued to co-parent their son Zen.

Third Time’s The Charm

As of the time of this writing, it certainly seems like Corey Feldman has found the one for him, his current wife Courtney Anne Mitchell. A member of Corey’s band, Corey Feldman & the Angels, the couple only seems to have been drawn closer together after their disastrous Today show performance was mercilessly ridiculed online.

A model who has been snapped by Sports Illustrated’s Brian Hayes and Playboy’s David Macey, Courtney Anne Mitchell’s career in front of the cameras began when she was only 10-years-old. Introduced to her future husband due to her modeling efforts, the couple met at a Midsummer’s Night Dream party at the Playboy Mansion.

Married as of 2016, Corey Feldman told People Magazine that he proposed unusually. “So I kinda chickened out and did a written proposal by writing a note with two checkboxes, one for yes and the other for no. Of course, there was a ring in there with the note. Luckily she said, “Yes!” Always supportive of one another, Courtney Anne Mitchell has remained very loyal to her husband during his crusade against Hollywood child abusers.
