Corey Feldman is known as a former child star who was in GremlinsThe Goonies, and Stand By Me. In the past few years, he said he and his friend Corey Haim were assaulted as kids, and he put out a documentary as well.

More recently, Feldman said that Marilyn Manson abused him, and he has been very open about his difficult experiences.

This sounds very tough, but thankfully Feldman has a source of love and support in his life: his third wife, Courtney Anne Mitchell. Let's take a look at her job and some more facts about her.

Making Music

Corey Feldman has been married three times: first to Vanessa Marcil, then Susie Sprague, and to his current wife, Courtney Anne Mitchell.

Courtney Anne Mitchell is the keyboardist and DJ for Corey Feldman's band Corey Feldman & the Angels.

According to Heavy, Feldman also said that his wife was a model: he explained that they didn't have an immediate schedule about starting a family. He said, "Courtney is young and she has a career in modeling and music, she would rather keep her body in good shape for now. She’s getting good practice with Zen.”

More About Mitchell

News.amomama.com reported that Mitchell has appeared in Sports Illustrated and Playboy. The publication also said that she met Feldman in 2011 at a Midsummer Night's Dream party.

The couple got married in 2016 at the Elton John Fizz champagne lounge, located at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

People reported that Feldman said the pair was always "anti-marriage" so his proposal was a big shock to Mitchell. He explained that because she's from Canada, they wanted to have a legal commitment to each other: he said, "But seeing as she’s Canadian and with [Donald] Trump coming in, we didn’t want to risk being separated by new immigration laws.” He continued, "We both know that we make a good team, and don’t want to be separated for any reason. So this is the best decision to protect our relationship.”

Feldman shared that he was consumed by nerves when he was about to ask Mitchell to marry him, so instead of verbally asking her, he wrote down the question and put boxes for her to check "yes" or "no." That is an adorable and romantic story.

'The Today Show' Performance

Corey Feldman and his band Corey's Angels went on The Today Show and people felt that it was an odd performance.

According to People, the band performed a song called "Go For It" which was on their latest album. People reported that Feldman wore different costumes in it, danced, and also had Doc Ice, a rapper, be part of the performance.

Feldman explained, “The whole theme of [Angelic 2 the Core] is good versus evil, heaven versus hell, that sort of thing. I know that angels have probably saved me once or twice in my life and I like helping them, as well. That’s why I created Corey’s Angels, as a way to help girls who are kind of lost and needed to find their way to get their opportunities, their dreams and make them their realities.”

The video ended up going viral and people said mean things about it. People reported that Feldman said the comments made him stay in bed. He said, “We just wanted to tell everybody that, like, it’s been really painful. “We put ourselves out there and we did the best that we could. And, like, I’ve never had such mean things said about me. Like constantly.”

Feldman's wife said that many media outlets were talking about the video in a negative light.

If fans are hoping for a sequel to The Goonies, Corey Feldman told Us Weekly that while he and Sean Austin worked on a pitch, the project has "no status."

Feldman said, “Sean and I came up with the treatment, we pitched it, it didn’t happen. And it’s sad. But at the same time, I believe that everything happens the way it’s meant to.”

It seems like Corey Feldman and Courtney Anne Mitchell are very happy together, as he has very sweet things to say about their relationship.

When talking to Us Weekly, Feldman shared how hurt he was after people made fun of his Today Show performance, and it's a very relatable message as many have faced criticism online. He said, “I don’t care if you’re hiding behind a computer of a keyboard — it’s not an excuse. It’s not acceptable. The somebody that you’re talking about is a real person with real feelings and real emotions.”
