The nods for this year’s Critics Choice Awards have been announced, with two Netflix series among the most nominated TV programs.

Ozark And The Crown Scored Six Nominations Each

The Critics’ Choice Association has revealed the nomination on January 18.

The full list of nominees shows that two Netflix favorites are leading the pack. Ozark and The Crown earned six nods each, including Best Drama.

Ozark’s protagonists Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as well as supporting actors Julia Garner, Janet McTeer, and Tom Pelphrey are all nominated in the acting categories for a drama series.

As for The Crown, Josh O’Connor, Emma Corrin and Queen Olivia Colman are nominated for Best Actor and Actress. Gillian Anderson, who received universal praise for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher, is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Tobias Menzies, who plays Prince Philip, is also nominated in a supporting acting category.

Netflix Original Productions Received 26 Nominations Total

The streaming giant also received recognition in other categories, for a total of 26 nominations.

Netflix has celebrated the achievement in a Twitter thread congratulating all the nominees.

Christina Applegate is nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her turn in the second season of dramedy Dead To Me.

Despite having received mostly negative reviews, Emily in Paris scored a nomination at the Critics Choice Awards thanks to Ashley Park. The Mean Girls on Broadway actress plays Emily’s best friend Mindy in the show.

As for miniseries, The Queen’s Gambit was nominated for Best Limited Series, as well as earning Anya Taylor-Joy and Marielle Heller a nod for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series respectively.

Dylan McDermott received a nod for his role on Ryan Murphy’s Hollywood, while Unorthodox was nominated for Best Limited Series. Protagonist Shira Haas also received a nod for the role of Esther “Esty” Shapiro.
