DaBaby is under some serious fire over his homophobic remarks during his performance at Rolling Loud. He was slammed by fans that were stunned to hear his off-beat remarks that threw the LGBTQ community under the bus and expressed seriously homophobic views. He took to social media to address the uproar but has confused fans in the process.

It seemed he positioned himself to make an apology - there was the semblance of one - but then he switched gears, changed the topic, confused his fans, and started to play the race card, claiming that others are profiting from the Black community and not understanding Black culture.

DaBaby Pulls Out The Race Card

DaBaby is being dragged for homophobic remarks. Nobody said anything about issues with race or ethnicity.

Out of the blue, DaBaby introduced the race card and took a racial stance in a conversation that was completely unrelated.

Fans are baffled by his strange rant and are truly uncertain about why he would introduce an entirely different issue when he already has enough backlash to contend with.

Dua Lipa recently laced into DaBaby by posting a declaration about her beliefs being very pro-LGBTQ. She made it clear to her fans that she is not at all aligned with DaBaby's homophobic views, in spite of collaborating with him on music. She didn't want to be jumbled into the mix of homophobic vibes he was sending out.

That really heated things up, and it may be what prompted him to quickly change the topic.

Some believe this bizarre discussion about the Black community was designed to deflect from the serious allegations of homophobia that are being flung at him. Bringing a racial issue into the mix seems like a bad move for DaBaby to make, though, and fans were quick to fire back and let him know that he's leading the conversation in the wrong direction.

Fans Push Back On The Race-Card

Fans don't think DaBaby should be pulling the race card out in a conversation that is completely unrelated.

Social media is flooded with comments such as; "why he bringing race into this?" "Wtf is he talking about," and "am I missing the apology?"

One fan even wrote; "Something wrong with him mentally 🙄," which generated the responses; "Naw don’t bring the black culture in the ignorant s**t u said smh," and "So you want brands/artist to give you a pass for saying ignorant s**t on the basis of you being ...... black?"

Another person said; "oh now he dug himself in worse, what is he thinking making this a racial thing when it clearly isn't?"
