DaBaby's recent performance at Rolling Loud has sparked a whole lot of controversy in a variety of different ways. Fans were stunned to see him bring out Tory Lanez in a clear and apparent diss against Megan Thee Stallion, but that wasn't all he did to ruffle feathers that day.

His performance included snippets of commentary, and fans could have really done without all the homophobic things he had to say. He's now under fire for some tasteless statements that are causing an uproar within the LGBTQ+ community, with many people including RuPaul's Drag Race star Trinity K. Bonet, who dragged him on Twitter.

There seemed to be a glimmer of hope as DaBaby came forward on Instagram to apologize for the incident and explain what happened that day... except that he didn't.

His attempt at an apology was so lame that it's being dragged as an epic fail, making this situation even more inflamed among fans.

DaBaby's Crass Commentary

When DaBaby took the stage at Rolling Loud, he spoke off the cuff, and made statements such as; " "If you didn't show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that'll make you die in two or three weeks, put your cellphone light in the air."

That wasn't all he said.

He was fully loaded with anti-LGBTQ commentary, none of which can be comfortably shared on any platform.

DaBaby vehemently denies any verbal lashing of the LGBTQ community and took to Instagram to try to explain the situation to his fans. The only problem is he didn't explain anything at all.

His words were barely audible, and he spoke in circles that didn't carry any sort of connecting commentary.

By saying a whole lot of nothing, and completely avoiding a direct apology, DaBaby added insult to injury among already angered fans.

The Backlash

The backlash is now louder and stronger than it initially was since DaBaby's failed attempt at an apology.

Fans took to social media to drag the artist and express their disdain over his insensitive comments.

Feedback included; "Damn he made it worse.. he not comprehending why they mad 😂," and "Yea he could’ve kept that s**t," as well as; "can't dig his a$s out of this one, he runs his mouth in circles after running an anti-gay show."

Another person said; "not agreeing with someone’s lifestyle and picking with someone’s lifestyle is 2 different things . You don’t even make sense," while another said; "wow, you messed up on stage and no you're messing up again. Canceled."

Others expressed their frustration by saying; "He said so much of nothing," and "I really wish he didn't explain himself. He gone made it even worse."
