Photoshop-Savvy Dad Created Captain Marvel Poster Starring His 5-Year-Old Daughter

A dad with crazy Photoshop skills edited his five-year-old daughter into iconic scenes from Captain Marvel. Check out the incredible results.

Captain Marvel is currently taking the world by storm. The 21st entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the first to be led by a female hero. Clearly, Marvel fans are big proponents of that, as out of all 21 movies, Captain Marvel had the second best opening weekend, bringing in an incredible $455 million worldwide. The only MCU movie to have done better was last year's Avengers: Infinity War.

Don't worry, you'll find no spoilers here if you have yet to see the movie. However, if you haven't seen it yet, trust us when we tell you, it holds up. Perhaps the movie's biggest fan is five-year-old Nellee. The little one loves the movie so much that her dad Josh Rossi gave her a gift like no other.

Josh used some remarkable Photoshop skills to turn Nellee into Captain Marvel. As you can see from the video clip above, after going to see the movie, Nellee emerged from the theater to discover a movie poster where she is Captain Marvel. We're not sure what strings her skilled dad had to pull to get that done, but it made for a moment his daughter will never forget.

On his blog, Josh shared the story of how he went about creating the photos, and also shared a few more snaps that he created. He tells the story of how his daughter was unaffected by being picked on at school due to the photos making her genuinely believe that she is a superhero. If that doesn't warm your heart beyond belief then nothing will.

Captain Marvel isn't the only female superhero to inspire Nellee. Her dad has also helped his daughter become Wonder Woman too. We all say that female-led movies like these are inspiring a generation of young girls, but it is something else to actually see it in action. The MCU isn't going away anytime soon and if it is still around 20 years from now, perhaps Nellee will portray one of Marvel's many female heroes on the big screen.
