The snow is melting, the weather is warming, and Dairy Queen is now serving Dreamsicle Dipped Cones; we think it’s safe to say that spring is on its way.

According to Bustle, the fast-food chain has embraced the impending season and has upped their dipped ice cream game. Once only available dipped in some delicious melted chocolate, Dairy Queen has begun to offer customers a soft-serve vanilla ice cream cone encased in a beautiful orange sherbet-like shell at participating locations. This new addition to the cold treats’ menu is not only visually appealing but also has many customers wondering how DQ has never thought of this before.

The reviews are in on Twitter, and it appears to be unanimous: people are loving the new Dreamsicle Dipped Cones. One user rated the tasty treat “11/10”, while another expressed her feelings by using the mind blown emoji.

The new vibrant orange treat has been so well received that the restaurants have begun to sell a Dreamsicle version of the iconic dilly bar as well, Delish reported. Now customers can choose whether they want to indulge in their cold neon snack in a waffle cone or on a stick. Or perhaps, if you’re anything like us here at TheThings, you’ll opt for trying both.

Dairy Queen is expected to be unrolling a brand new 2019 spring menu on April 1, and Delish revealed that anyone currently missing out on the Dreamsicle Dipped Cones will likely see their local DQ restaurants begin to offer them around May 1.

According to Chew Boom, Dairy Queen's new spring menu is expected to include plenty of new and exciting items to excite even the pickiest of eaters. Customers can expect to see such additions as a new Chicken & Waffles Basket, which features DQ's classic white meat chicken fingers with a side of fluffy Belgian waffles, plus some maple syrup to complete the entire meal.

Locations will also begin to offer new Cupfections, (sundaes served with cakes and brownies in the plastic dish), as well as new Cake Shakes - milkshakes with cake blended right into the mixture. These treats will be available in either chocolate or strawberry. With all these fabulous new additions, it's safe to say that this spring, there will be lots of delectable treats for people to choose from. We have a feeling most people will be reaching for those dreamy Dreamsicle cones, though.

Not everyone likes oranges, or the taste of artificially flavored orange-cream treats, and DQ understands that. For those customers, some locations appear to have also introduced a cherry-coated version of the ice cream.

In a Youtube video posted by the channel Consumer Time Capsule, the host can be seen excitedly introducing viewers to both new dipped cone flavors, holding up the orange version as well as aptly colored cherry-red one. Both look positively delectable and like the perfect treat for the spring and summer seasons.
