What Happened To Daisy De La Hoya After Rock Of Love?

There are some people who have appeared on reality TV that fans would love to see land their own series, and Daisy De La Hoya was one who got her own show after her season of Rock Of Love came to an end.

Daisy has gone through some tough times in her life. She has been open about her substance abuse after her time on Rock Of Love.

In an interview with VH1, Daisy said, "I was just born into this type of thing which is something that I have been doing for a long time and [this lifestyle] just maybe amplified it. I think it takes a certain type of personality. I think that’s just a part of who I am, but I’ve overcome those things now."

By the time that 2016 interview was released, Daisy shared that she had been sober for two or three years. She also shared that she hadn't gotten along with her mom, that they hadn't talked in 13 years, but they were trying to repair their relationship.

Daisy explained, "That’s a big deal for me and also very painful, but this is all a part of the healing process and journey of a human being. My journey at least."

She Started Her Own Show Called Daisy Of Love

Before VH1, Daisy's most notable relationship was with the late Corey Haim in 2010.

According to VH1, Daisy also starred in a reality show called Daisy of Love, which came after Rock of Love.

She told the publication, "It’s hard to, you know, you gotta be interesting and funny, and beautiful or whatever and hopefully people love you, and they watch you and your career flourishes, and you go on."

The show aired for one season that lasted 12 episodes in 2009 on VH1. Daisy was trying to search for her soulmate, and there were almost 20 guys in the series. This format very closely resembled that of her reality debut in Rock of Love.

Daisy chose a man named London, but according to Reality Tea, they broke up shortly after the show. In September 2009, Daisy let her fans know what was going on with their romance in a since-deleted Myspace blog post.

She said that although she loved London, a previous woman that London had dated was now pregnant. Daisy suspected that the man may have been interested in her because he was an aspiring musician, and being with her could get him publicity.

Daisy Caused Some Reality Show Drama

There was some drama in the second season of Rock Of Love, which is often the case with this genre of television.

Daisy and her ex-boyfriend lived together and, according to Cheat Sheet, this came out during filming.

A producer told the publication that another cast member, Heather Chadwell, would talk about this on a regular basis.

The producer said, “I understand that Daisy living with her ex was alarming, but Heather only continued to bring it up as a way to jab at Daisy. In my opinion, Heather was totally and utterly jealous of Daisy from the start."

Where Is Daisy De La Hoya Now?

Fans will be glad to hear that although Daisy De La Hoya has had some hard times, she is doing well now.

Daisy De La Hoya has been keeping her life private for the last few years.
