In a new interview with Elijah Wood for Empire Magazine, actor Daniel Radcliffe admitted that he is now "intensely embarrassed" about his acting on the beloved Harry Potter franchise.

The 31-year-old actor spoke about his performances when he was younger, candidly telling Wood, "I'm intensely embarrassed by some of my acting, obviously. But yeah, it's like asking, 'How do you feel about your teenage years?' There's so much in there that it's almost impossible to single out one feeling.'"

He continued, "It's hard to separate my relationship with Harry from my relationship with the film as a whole."

Obviously, fans of the Harry Potter movies felt differently about Radcliffe's performance than the former wizard did, but the actor did admit that he was "incredibly grateful for the experience" regardless.

"It showed me what I want to do with the rest of my life. To find out early on what you love is really lucky," the actor shared.

As well as discussing his famous Potter role, Radcliffe and Wood touched upon the fact that they are regularly mistaken for one another by fans - an amusing coincidence, as they not only look similar, but stared in very similar roles in franchises that are equally popular, and often with the same people.

Radcliffe shared, "Though we're both short, pale, blue-eyed, and brown-haired, I would say that we don't exactly look alike. But the idea of us is exactly the same."

He joked, "When people say to me 'Lord of the Rings!" I literally just say, 'Nope. The other one."

Radcliffe also admitted that he once signed an autograph pretending to be Woods.
