While all eyes were on the twins getting many cosmetic procedures done, and we mean many, the focus remains on Darcey's ongoing relationship issues with Georgi.
Although fans have witnessed some laughs this season, they have certainly tuned in to more tears from Darcey, and it all comes down to her romance with Georgi or lack thereof. When it comes to their relationship status, fans have been quick to blame Darcey for their failed relationship, even going as far as turning against her!
While viewers see right through the on-screen drama, it seems as if Stacey Silva is the only one painting her sister, Darcey in a positive light. During tonight's episode, Stacey lends her support to Darcey, however, fans are calling her out for enabling Darcey's toxic ways.
Is Stacey Enabling Darcey's Behavior?
Darcey and Stacey clearly have a close sister bond, and when you add on the fact that they're twins, it's no surprise that they're each other's biggest support system. Well, when it comes to their relationship, it seems as if the two might be one another's biggest cheerleaders...to a fault!
During tonight's episode of Darcey & Stacey, the duo head on over to Turkey to enhance their bodies with a few tweaks. While Darcey made it clear it wasn't just about the plastic surgery, and equally about "self-love and discovery", fans don't seem to be buying that last bit all too much.
As the two settle in, the topic surrounding Darcey's ongoing relationship issues with Georgi comes up, leaving Stacey to give her $0.02. Although it's understandable that Stacey is definitely biased in the situation, considering it's her twin sister she's talking to, fans think she's doing more harm to Darcey than good.
After a tumultuous season of non-stop screaming matches and tears between Darcey and Georgi, it's become evident that Darcey is no saint, however, Stacey begs to differ! Darcey went on to describe her relationship with Georgi, saying, "He's just blaming me, and gaslighting me. It's sad because when you say you love somebody, you don't treat someone like that!"
Well, it appears as if Darcey is a do as I say and not as I do kinda gal, 'cause despite loving Georgi, she still went behind his back to reach out to his ex-wife, not once...but twice! Fans realize that she is equally at fault, if not most at fault when it comes to her toxic relationship, however, Stacey thinks Darcey is completely innocent!
"I've seen you in this relationship, and you've done nothing wrong!" Stacey reassured Darcey. It was at this very moment that viewers knew Stacey wasn't supporting her sister, but merely enabling her toxic ways.
Stacey's Relationship Isn't Any Better
Viewers are not only annoyed with Stacey for leading Darcey to believe she's done nothing wrong, but they also think it's the perfect ploy to take the heat and focus off of her marriage with Florian. The two are by no means any better and have had a few heated moments this season, making it clear that Stacey and Florian's romance is just as turbulent as Darcey's.
Stacey Silva and Florian both called out Georgi for looking at Darcey as his "sugar mama" and nothing more than an ATM, however, fans were quick to call out Florian for doing the exact same thing with Stacey.
"Stacey talked cash sh*t about Georgi but she’s rolling up to the ATM to give her man child some money," one fan wrote on Twitter, pointing out the hypocrisy of it all. To add even more fuel to the fire, Stacey asked Florian how much money he needed before she and Darcey jet-setted off to Turkey, making it clear that she's just as much an ATM for Florian as Darcey is for Georgi.
Viewers took things a step further by pointing out that Stacey focuses solely on Darcey's issues to avoid having to talk about hers, which includes her and Florian's ongoing battle with whether or not to have kids.
