Fans were in awe after an 11-year-old drummer joined the notorious rock band the Foo Fighters on stage. British musician Nandi Bushell was invited to perform the band's iconic 1997 song "Everlong," alongside the stars of the band.

Bushell is a drummer who grew popular from her rock covers on YouTube. At the time of reporting, she currently has 301K subscribers on the platform and 809K on Instagram. She describes herself as "the British and Zulu drummer girl" and has been active since 2016.

Most recently, she's the center of attention in a viral video featuring her playing the drums while the Foo Fighters perform in California. Yahoo! Entertainment reports that the iconic performance took place on Thursday (Aug 26) at the Forum venue in Los Angeles. Prior to welcoming Bushell onto the stage, lead singer Dave Grohl introduced her by mentioned all of the "pretty amazing people" they've been able to perform with over their career. However, he specified that Bushell "takes the cake."

Bushell shared her excitement about the opportunity. She tweeted, "It happened!!! It was #EPIC!!! Thank you so much @foofighters!!! I had the best night ever jamming with you at @TheForum! Thank you so much Mr. Grohl and Taylor!"

In the video, she is seen expertly twirling her drumsticks in her hand before tackling the complicated song. The audience roared as she was brought on stage and began to show off her talents. One fan commented, "When Dave started to tell the drumming duel story last night, you could see her drumkit being brought out. The fans immediately knew. “Nan-diiii!!!” more than a few people yelled." So, it's clear that the band's followers are well-acquainted with the young musician's work.

Another praised Bushell's passion. They tweeted, "If I find something to do that makes me half as happy as you look playing the drums then I’ve accomplished everything I’ll have needed to. Simply joyous."
