While she wanted to put Susan in her place, all Edie got was a visit to the hospital and a lot of swelling.

Katherine Mayfair Desperate Housewives

Katherine Mayfair was played by the oh so lovely Dana Delany, who was actually offered the part of Bree Van de Kamp three different times. While she only joined the rest of the women come season 4 of the show, Katherine was an old friend who had lived on the Wisteria Lane far before any of the other ladies did. During her time, Katherine gave birth to her only daughter, Dylan.

Susan Desperate Housewives

We were first introduced to Susan in a very interesting way. While Susan was, in fact, the clumsy and scattered housewife, she was quite the beauty. After arguing with her ex-husband, Carl, in nothing but a towel, Susan exits her house and slams the car door shut as Carl drives away, however, her towel got stuck in the door!

As she returns back to her front door, she notices she locked herself out. The next plan was to crawl through the side window but leave it to clumsy Susan to fall into a bush just as her next-door neighbor and soon-to-be love interest, Mike Delfino, finds her naked.
