The Breakup With Amber Heard Seemed To Be Harder On Elon Musk
Back in 2017, Elon Musk did not shy away from his true emotions, stating that he was heartbroken following the split from Amber Heard. Now, we're not sure how he feels about everything in the current day but back then, it was a tough reality to face for the Tesla billionaire.
"I've been in severe emotional pain for the last few weeks," he said. "Severe. It took every ounce of will to be able to do the Model 3 event and not look like the most depressed guy around."
"For most of that day, I was morbid. And then I had to psych myself up: drink a couple of Red Bulls, hang out with positive people and then, like, tell myself: 'I have all these people depending on me. All right, do it," he stated alongside E News discussing his breakup to Amber Heard.
"I was really in love, and it hurt bad...Well, she broke up with me more than I broke up with her, I think."
As for Amber Heard, it seems as though things were different on her end. Speculation states that Heard was "filling space" during her time alongside Musk. Nonetheless, in the following year, she issued a statement about the relationship, speaking positively about her time alongside Elon.
“Elon and I had a beautiful relationship, and we have a beautiful friendship now, one that was based on our core values. Intellectual curiosity, ideas and conversation, a shared love for science. We just bonded on a lot of things that speak to who I am on the inside. I have so much respect for him.”
