Elizabeth Hurley & The Cast Of 'The Royals'

Elizabeth Hurley took on one of her most iconic roles yet in 2015 when it was revealed that she would be playing Queen Helena of England, in the new E! show, 'The Royals'. While the show was obviously a take on the British royal family, Hurley and the rest of the cast, which included Alexandra Park, William Moseley, and Jake Maskall all of whom played immediate members of the royal family. Considering the cast worked together quite closely for 4 seasons, Elizabeth Hurley is revealing how the experience was, and even went as far as letting fans know the worst day on set!

When it came to Hurley's relationship with her fellow cast members, the actress says that she could not have lucked out more when it came to her TV kids, Park and Moseley, whom she saw as her own children over the course of filming. As for her evil brother-in-law, Prince Cyrus, Hurley, and Jake Maskall were like two peas in a pod! The duo had quite the "banter" when it came to working together, which was always a hoot for cast and crew. Although she got along fabulously with the cast, that doesn't always mean filming the show was fun.

Elizabeth told Us magazine that the worst day she's had on set left her covered in chocolate sauce for far too many takes after an enemy pushed her into a chocolate fountain. "It was some disgusting brown stuff the props guys mixed up. It was probably the worst day shooting I've ever had", she said. "I just had to keep doing it again and again - then they have to wash your hair and dry it. It was a nightmare", Hurley finished.

Despite the fun times, the show ended up getting axed after the series creator, Mark Schwahn was fired due to allegations of sexual harassment during his time on 'One Tree Hill'.
