Things have been not-so-great between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his wife, Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen. This is blatantly obvious to those closest to them, especially since Brady decided to un-retire from the NFL earlier this summer. But are they doing so badly that they're revising their prenuptial agreements, just in case they split up for good?

Tom Brady And Gisele Bündchen Had A Rough Start To Their Relationship

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had somewhat of a fairy tale romance, initially meeting through a mutual friend and falling head over heels for each other shortly thereafter.

Things haven't always been easy for them, however, considering the fact that in February 2007, just as they began their relationship, Brady was about to have his first child with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.

This undoubtedly caused tension between new couple, but it seemed to be short-lived as all parties involved have never publicly shared any feelings of resentment towards one another. Brady and Moynahan have been co-parenting their son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, with poise and grace, which is something that a lot of people could learn from. One would think if Brady and Bündchen could survive that, they could survive anything. However, this might not be the case.

Divorce Speculation Isn't New To Tom Brady And Gisele Bündchen

Rumors have been circulating since late 2020 that their marriage was on the rocks. However, since Brady's official announcement to come out of retirement made in March 2022, sources close to the couple have stated that the downfall has only been getting worse.

In details posted by an article on Suggest.com, an insider was quoted saying the couple "realized they’re two very different people. He likes a structured life, and she’s all over the place — he’ll come home to a note saying she’s gone to Costa Rica to meditate!”

In the same article, Brady was also quoted saying that he was “going one way, and she’s going in the other." For a while, this was enough to send the tabloids into a media frenzy with every entertainment news outlet trying to get their hands on the latest info about their relationship and the status of their marriage. Unfortunately for them, there haven't been very many updates since then.

A Prenup Renegotiation Might Be A Good Thing For Gisele Bündchen After Tom Brady's New Job As A Fox Sportscaster After His Retirement

Another reason that the couple could be deciding to renegotiate their prenup is the fact that Brady just signed off on a $375 million deal with Fox Sports set to take effect after he retires. Should they decide to divorce, if Bündchen revises her part of the prenup, she could get a ridiculous amount of money.

“The current prenup is pretty ironclad and lists how everything will be divided should they break up, but it needs to be updated, and it can be if both parties agree,” an insider has told Suggest.com. "Gisele is rich in her own right, but her friends are telling her she’d be nuts not to revise their prenup, and she’s likely to listen to them.”

In a sense, they're right. Who knows how much money Bündchen would be entitled to should the couple separate after Brady starts raking in the big bucks as a Fox Sports analyst? Especially considering the fact that it's the largest contract in sportscasting history, according to Forbes.
