It's sometimes hard to believe how fast the years have gone by. Especially when reminiscing about one's childhood in regards to their favorite television shows. Back in the 2000s, Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel were the top networks for kids and tweens.

Movies like High School Musical, Lemonade Mouth, and Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century were the talk of the town. Not to mention Nickelodeon shows like Zoey 101, The Amanda Show, and Ned's Declassified. Looking back, one comes to the realization that these famous kid actors are now grown-ups. Let's take a look at what stars from the networks are far into adulthood and are now happy parents.

10 Daniella Monet

Fans of Victorious on Nickelodeon would recall Tory's (Victoria Justice) big sister, Trina Vega. Trina was played by actress Daniella Monet. Before that, she also played the role of Rebecca Martin on the hit show Zoey 101. Along with her acting career, Monet got into a serious seven-year relationship with her boyfriend Andrew Gardner.

The pair then got engaged in 2017 before getting married. In 2019, the happy couple announced they were expecting their first child. On September 3rd, their son Gio James was born.

9 Kevin & Joe Jonas

Kevin and Joe Jonas originally appeared on Disney Channel as themselves as the Jonas Brothers alongside their brother Nick Jonas. They then had a bigger role in Disney Channel appearing on Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, and later their own show called Jonas.

Kevin originally met his future wife Danielle Deleasa in 2007 while on a family vacation. They then got married two years later. The married couple welcomed their first daughter Alena in 2014 and then their daughter Valentina in 2016. Joe Jonas met Games of Thrones actress, Sophie Turner, in 2017. They got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child, Willa, in July 2020, who also happens to be a girl.

8 Jamie Lynn Spears

Jamie Lynn Spears's road to parenthood created quite a buzz back in the day. Spears was known for being a "good girl" as Zoey Brooks on the hit show Zoey 101. A year before the show's end, Spears announced that she was expecting at the age of 16 with her then-boyfriend.

The news sent her career into hiatus and gave her significant controversy. In 2008, Spears gave birth to a baby girl named Maddie. Years later with her second husband, Spears gave birth to a second daughter, Ivy, in 2018.

7 Christy Carlson Romano

If there were two shows that were highly popular on Disney Channel in the 2000s, they were Even Stevens and Kim Possible. Christy Carlson Romano at 16 became the only Disney Channel star to work in three projects simultaneously. She had a starring role in Cadet Kelly, starred in Even Stevens and voiced the main role in Kim Possible.

While in college. Romano met writer-producer Brandon Rooney. They later married in 2013. She gave birth to their first daughter in 2016. She announced to People she was expecting and later gave birth to their second child in 2019.

6 Carlos PenaVega

Just as Disney Channel had the Jonas Brothers that enamored the hearts of thousands of young teens, Nickelodeon had their own band. In 2009, the network released the show Big Time Rush. The band in the show also simultaneously signed a record deal with Nickelodeon. The group gained immense success for their music and series before the show's end in 2013 & the band's dispersal in 2014.

PenaVega went on to continue acting and met Disney Channel star Alexa Vega. Yes, as in Carmen from Spy Kids. The couple got engaged in 2013 and married a year later. They have two sons, Ocean born in 2016 and Kingston born in 2019.

5 Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff was a golden child during her years on Disney Channel. She skyrocketed to stardom in the show Lizzie McGuire that then progressed into an acting career. She is known for her roles in Cheaper by the Dozen, A Cinderella Story, and Younger. It also led to a successful singing career.

She had her first child in 2012 with ex-husband, NHL player Mike Comrie. In 2018, she gave birth to a daughter with songwriter Matthew Koma. Duff and Koma tied the knot in 2019. 

4 Nathan Kress

The dorky and loveable Freddie Benson from iCarly is all grown up. Nathan Kress portrayed the character until the show's end in 2012 on Nickelodeon. Fans were shocked to discover that Kress got engaged to girlfriend London Elise Moore in 2015.

Six months later, they married that same year. The happy couple then announced that their first child was born in 2017. Looks like Freddie moved on from Carly.

3 Danielle Panabaker

Danielle Panabaker was well known during her Disney Channel days for her roles in the films Stuck in the Suburbs, Sky High, and Read It and Weep. She is now known for playing the role of Caitlin Snow in the CW show, The Flash.

Many may not have known that Panabaker got engaged in 2016 to her longtime boyfriend. Her and Hayes Robbins then married the following year. Two years later, Panabaker announced her pregnancy and welcomed a child in spring 2020.

2 David Henrie

Wizards of Waverly Place was a show that gained immense success on Disney Channel and had a lot of fans during its run. David Henrie starred alongside Selena Gomez as Justin Russo. Henrie has since appeared in a variety of guest roles on television and film.

Fans were in awe to learn that Henrie got engaged in 2016 to former Miss Delaware, Maria Cahill. They got married in 2017. Amidst his gun charge controversy, he announced that they were expecting their first child. Their daughter was born in 2019. In June 2020, the couple announced their second pregnancy.

1 Josh Peck

That's right, Josh from Drake & Josh is now a proud father. Josh Peck gained recognition co-starring in the Nickelodeon show alongside Drake Bell. Peck is still an actor and has gained a considerable amount of fans on social media.

Josh Peck married his longtime girlfriend in 2017. In 2018, Peck compiled videos of his social media friends reacting to the announcement that they were expecting their first child. Their son, Max, was born later that December.
