Deciding where to eat in Walt Disney World is not an easy task, especially since there are over 200 places to get food within the resort. To narrow down your options, let's take a look at some of the best themed restaurants Walt's wonderland has to offer.

Dining in at least one of these themed establishments is a must if you want to get the most out of your Disney World experience. Each of these restaurants offers something unique that you and your whole family will most likely remember for the rest of your lives. After all, even if the food isn't spectacular, the experience definitely will be.

10 Liberty Tree Tavern (Magic Kingdom)

Liberty Tree Tavern sits in an 18th-century colonial town directly northwest of Cinderella Castle. The old-fashioned décor, as well as their wait staff in 18th-century clothing, really gives you that colonial New England feel.

That’s not the only thing that makes this restaurant unique, though. At Liberty Tree Tavern, it’s Thanksgiving literally every night. You don’t get to pick what you want to eat, which can be quite surprising if you weren’t expecting it (trust us, we were very surprised). Instead, they serve Thanksgiving staples, family-style. You also get dessert at the end of your meal.

9 Boma - Flavors Of Africa (Animal Kingdom Lodge)

If you’ve never had African cuisine before and you don’t mind being a little adventurous, head to Boma - Flavors of Africa and be amazed by their great selection of African food. Resembling an African marketplace, Boma features buffet-style food and rotates its menu throughout the week

The unique flavors on offer make this place truly memorable. It’s safe to say that you probably won’t find the dishes here outside of Disney World unless you have an African restaurant in your neighborhood (or if you go on a trip to Africa).

8 Biergarten (Epcot)

Located at Epcot’s Germany Pavilion, Biergarten is the place to go if you want to feel like you’ve been transported to a traditional Bavarian village in Germany. If Liberty Tree Tavern celebrates Thanksgiving every night, Biergarten celebrates Oktoberfest all year long.

Listen to live, traditional (and very energetic) German music as you feast on rotating buffet selections like pork schnitzel, bratwurst, and rotisserie chicken. If the band encourages you to come to the dance floor, you should definitely take them up on their offer and show them your sick dance moves (if you're able after all that food). They also have a good selection of alcoholic beverages for guests 21 years old and older.

7 Coral Reef (Epcot)

Coral Reef is one of those places you'll either really like or really hate. With a huge aquarium replacing one of the restaurant’s walls, Coral Reef feels like it's underwater, allowing you to watch 4,000 sea creatures doing their thing as you dine.

Since it looks beautiful and refreshing, it’s one of the top spots to eat lunch in the middle of the day. As a bonus, thanks to its tiered seating, there are no bad seats at Coral Reefs. Everything is great, then, unless the fact that you're watching fish while eating fish makes you uncomfortable.

6 Garden Grill (Epcot)

Have you ever wondered what it’d be like to eat in a rotating restaurant? Satisfy your curiosity and check out Garden Grill at Epcot’s Future World. This restaurant slowly rotates to show you some beautiful visuals from the Living with the Land attraction.

They’re technically the same scenes you would see if you were to go on the ride, only seen from a different point of view. Another interesting thing about Garden Grill --besides the fact that it rotates-- is that many of the vegetables they serve are actually grown in the Living with the Land greenhouses.

5 San Angel Inn Restaurante (Epcot)

This Mexican restaurant inside Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion has become a favorite of many. Heck, the Mexico Pavilion is already quite an experience in and of itself. The building is made to look like a real pyramid, and when you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a bustling Mexican town square under a twilight sky.

To the back of the pavilion is San Angel Inn Restaurante, adorned by a big replica of a Mayan pyramid and what seems to be an active volcano in the distance. The whole theme is done so well that even though you’re inside, you feel like you’re outdoors enjoying the Mexican night sky.

4 Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom)

Cinderella’s Royal Table is located inside Cinderella Castle in the middle of Magic Kingdom. The restaurant host (who addresses girls and boys as princesses and princes and adults as ladies and lords) will usher you into a royal waiting room as your table is readied.

Once ready, you’ll be taken upstairs into the dining area, which looks just as you'd expect a castle's dining room to look. If you’ve never been to a real castle before, this is the closest thing you’ll get to being inside one.

3 Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom)

If you’re more of a Beauty and the Beast fan, skip Cinderella’s Royal Table and head to Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland. It’s inside Beast’s Castle, and you can only enter the castle if you have a reservation (so don’t forget to make one).

Everything inside the restaurant is so pretty, you’re going to want to stay there for an extended amount of time. The lighting in each of the rooms is magical and the special effects are a must-see. It always looks like it’s snowing outside and the magic rose in the forbidden west sing looks absolutely beautiful.

2 T-Rex Café (Disney Springs)

As the name suggests, T-Rex Café in Disney Springs features dinosaur décor. It’s very similar to Rainforest Café, except it has dinosaurs that come to life.

Not only will your mouth be busy eating, your eyes will also be really busy, looking at all the things going on inside the restaurant.  Moving and roaring dinosaurs, a color-changing ice cavern, storms and even a meteor shower are just some of the highlights. It almost feels like you’re in a Jurassic Park movie. You can even choose to eat under luminescent jellyfish or inside the midsection of a triceratops.

1 Sci-Fi Dine-In (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)

Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is arguably the best themed restaurant at Disney World. The food may be mediocre at best, but the interior is so spectacular that sci-fi and film nerds (and non-nerds alike) will be blown away by it.

Resembling a drive-in movie theater, Sci-Fi Dine-In has tables that look like parked cars. There’s even a real screen that plays a loop of sci-fi clips showing robots, mummies, aliens and other sci-fi staples. Be warned, though: the seating is for two people per row, so talking might be hard if you’re with a large group.
